"I know...but she is so pretty and the talk we had in the gym...it just...I don't know" Aaliyah says sighing.
"It was not a talk, it was more of two girls hating you over a boy and you need to tell him...you can not keep the feeling inside knowing damn well that if you asked him to jump off a cliff just for you to proclaim your love to him...he would do that"
"I don't know...I guess I will think about it when after my work...suppose to meet up with my group member in a few minutes" Aaliyah says checking the clock of her phone
"What's her name? Macy? Maddy?"
"It's Mary and she's black"
"Wow the first black girl you have talked to after you joined uni"

Aaliyah and Sammy says looking up at a average height girl, her curls reaching to her shoulder and her dark complexion showing off in the sun's light. "Are you Aaliyah?"

"I'm Mary...Mary Davis."
"Hi Mary...This is Sammy my friend" Aaliyah says as Sammy waves at her with a smile
"Nice to meet you...heard you guys were talking about boy issues" Mary says taking a seat next to Aaliyah

"She got this crush on this white dude...blonde, blue eyes, football player...he likes her...and she likes him but she is hesitant because... of their race...thinks he would pick this blonde girl that asked him out"
"You know you have to say yes...girl him that black girl magic you know" Mary chuckles "I was in a relationship with a white dude once...high school. "Oh...Simon, Simon Hale"
Aaliyah and Sammy looked at Mary with wide eyes
"Simon Hale?"
"As in Benedict's brother?"
"The dude on the football team...yeah, the brother" Mary says
"Oh my gosh...Benedict...that's the guy I'm talking about!"
"Oh sweetie...you in for a ride, I went to their house once and it was amazing, Mrs. Hale was so perfect, they had a pool and a gym and a movie room...it was so amazing" Mary says
"Wait so if you were on his chest during graduation...and you're a freshmen?" Sammy asks
"He was a junior when we fell in love...and his brother is in my grade so he was there for his brother, saw me...and couldn't hold it any longer, just raced to me, hugging me and spinning me around before...telling me he needed to go..."
"Oh...I'm sorry..."
"It's alright...I just hope I will be able to heal and move on, it's not his fault...he really loved me...but I promise that I'm fun...talking about white dudes dating black chicks brought back memories you know...but I'm really fun, I love to surf...and I'm quite a talkative...I guess I am...not too sure" Mary chuckles
Aaliyah smiles at her "It's really nice to make a new friend, since Sammy and Benny's friend been bickering"
"Actually not anymore...we've been..." Sammy says looking around
"Been?" Aaliyah and Mary look at her with a smile
"Well...hanging out you know" Sammy says tucking in her hair "Not sure since we had a big fight like days ago"
"Maybe you like him...I mean..." Mary says
"Like him? I called him a walking STD because he was having sex with too much girls! I'm sure as hell don't like him" Sammy replies
"Yeahh but you two have been together almost as much as Aaliyah and her lover...maybe it's developing feelings for him and he could be too" Mary replies
"No...he would rather much kill himself than ever fall in love with me, after all I'm the only girl that hasn't dropped my panties for him...and Aaliyah but she's dropping hers for her boyfriend" Sammy teases
"I do not...asking him to buy things for me is not dropping my panties" Aaliyah says rolling her eyes as Sammy and Mary laugh out loud.
