"Happy birthday!" James, Aaliyah and Sammy yells at the door of the Benedict dorm.
"It's 9 am guys..." Benedict says
"And? It's your birthday!" James yells
"I'm in a grey tank top and a blue paid pj pants...my hair is a mess and I haven't brushed yet...I appreciate you guys but can I please at least dress up like the hottie I am?" Benedict says with a chuckle
Aaliyah nods "Sure no problem...we'll give you...hmmm...let's give him 30 minutes...you agree guys?" Aaliyah says looking at Sammy and James, the two nodding
"30 minutes...good...and thank you...I'll see you soon" Benedict says before grabbing their gifts and dropping it next to the bathroom.
Benedict soon comes out, wearing a Riverstone University sweater, a brown jean shorts and a brown slippers so he could match with Aaliyah's overbig sized sweater, her braids in a pony style with the claw.
"Awww look at you twoooo" Sammy says giggling as James chuckles "Love couple with the matching sweater and slippers"
"That's the whole purpose" Benedict says smiling at Aaliyah who is trying her best to hide her smile.
"So what are we doing to do? Drink till night or?" James asks holding up a pack of 8 beers with a smirk
"Or we can go to an arcade and play games...I got free 4 tickets" Sammy says showing off her phone with the tickets on display
"Or...we could grab a birthday cake for Benny and cut the cake!" Aaliyah says with a cheer
"Or we can do all three...cut the cake, go to the arcade and come back here to get drunk...sounds fab?" Benedict says
The three nodded before heading out.
First stop was the local store. Aaliyah brings out a vanilla cake with a recently bought candles in the car. "Let's put the cake in the middle and sing happy birthday to him!"
Aaliyah lights up the candles counting the candles before dropping the lighter and clapping her hands.
They sing to Benedict in the car ,clapping as Benedict blows out the candles with a smile.
"Make a wish!" Aaliyah says with a smile
"Well...I wish that all of you remain my friends and my doll...Aaliyah...remain my doll" Benedict replies with a smile.
He starts the car driving to the local arcade center Game Nexus, the second stop on his grand birthday plan, entering the place with the tickets Sammy had
"Taking the basketball area, will probably be there till we leave!" James says jogging to the area where there was the most shouting
"I'll be by the vr set, gotta try out a new dance" Sammy says pointing the line at the vr center before walking to the back of the line
"Guess that leaves us two...wanna go to the duo cars racing...I can beat you" Benedict says smiling
"Sure" Aaliyah giggles as they run to the first duo car, sitting down on the chair "You know you're going to lose right?"
"Yeah right" Benedict smiles before starting the race.
Hours later the four college kids heads back into Benedict's car, shutting the door to let the heat in.
"Last stop, getting wasted at his dorm" James smiled holding the beer cans earning an eye roll from Sammy and a giggle from Aaliyah
"Fine...we'll get wasted...happy?" Benedict says
"Yes! You're going to drink tonight Ms nerd" James said pointing to Sammy
"I would rather swallow a knife than drink beer...sorry" Sammy replies as Benedict starts to drive back to his dorm.
Benedict opens his dorm allowing the trio inside "Okay so I told my roommate you guys are going to be here till 3 am so I need you all gone by 3 am...okay?"
"But we used to drink to 6 am" James groans
"Because my roommate was drinking with us, but he's going to bring his younger sister over and I'm sure you don't want to puke on her considering the fact that she would be joining us next year" Benedict replies
"Don't worry...I'll make sure that he doesn't drink myself to death..." Sammy says
"Do you need anything...? Water, soda, I have sprite, fanta, coke-" Benedict says when Aaliyah stops him
"It's your birthday...you don't need to be giving out sodas you know" She says kneeling beside the squatting Benedict by the fridge
"I know but I don't feel like inviting my friends over without drinking some soda" Benedict argues
"I know but...trust me on this...will you?" Aaliyah sighs
"I guess...sorry James, doll said I can't give you any" Benedict says looking at James who is laying on his bed, Sammy on the desk chair spinning around.
"Benedict...can I talk to you...for a sec?" Aaliyah asks
Benedict nods taking Aaliyah to the quiet lounge outside of his dorm "Yeah...what's up"
"You remember when I told you that I thought I liked you and I needed you to assure me that my feelings...weren't a lie"
"Yeah?"
"I've had this conclusion for a while but...I wanted to tell you on your birthday...maybe it can be a good gift..."
"Not sure of what you are talking about..."
"I like you...I really like you"
"Wait...it's a prank right...I mean you can't certainty say that after the way I treated you-"
"I know...I know and you have done the most to make it right...and that is why I like you, rather than you insulting me or calling names...you gave me a reason to give you a second chance and you...basically have lived like a priest ever since...that is why I like you Benny...when I saw the Venessa...I was upset and I thought that you would forget about me go to her...so I made it my decision to tell you before you forget me"
"Why would you think I would forget you doll...I would never do that and you know that. I am happy you like me...I'm really am...this is the best gift I could ever have in the last 19 years of my life" Benedict says holding Aaliyah's cheek "I like you and I hope that you remain on my side"
Aaliyah smiles dragging Benedict by top of his sweater, bringing his lips to hers, Benedict responding by wrapping his hands around her waist bringing her closer
"Sweet" James says taking a picture of them kissing
"You're a freak" Sammy says looking at him in a weird way
"Oh well...I'm his best friend for a reason, will probably make this his wallpaper" James says before him and Sammy walks back to the dorm.
