Oh? You're choosing me to give the recap? Very well then. For those that do not know who's POV this is, the name is Daisuke, I am the leader of Team Azure, a group of heroes that travel the Multiverse and beyond. I am also a Saiyan of the Rogue class, hence the daggers.
Jeez, I wish it ended at the whole fiasco with Selina's subconscious simulacrum of Acheron, which stemmed from her fears, thanks to a horror movie Gavin had Team Azure watch, and Shadow, that child that was actually a Saiyan hybrid with demonic powers looking for his mother that turned out to be Selina, or so that brat claims.
But then the Cyan Titans entered our lives.... We'll get to that part.
That mongrel Bloodmage, he thought he could get away so easily with kidnapping Gavin in order to dissect his super genius mind for information on Nexus, an adaptive robot that defeated Team Azure. Nexus isn't a problem anymore, in fact he's a good metallic fellow currently with my girlfriend and her friends.
I may have been harsh on Gavin for creating Nexus, and miscalculating on his girlfriend, Fern, subduing Nexus with kindness, but then again.... I was a bit frustrated that day from the loss we took. Defeat is an opportunity to get stronger after all, and I did take that opportunity to get stronger by training in the Blue Nexus.
Nonetheless, I tried to make amends by using my super speed to cross through time and space in order to locate where Bloodmage kidnapped Gavin. Strategically, that damn sorcerer, Bloodmage, took Gavin to a warehouse from an unknown timeline in order to make sure Team Azure would not locate the Cyan Titans' true location. I did manage to find Gavin, but he was down for the count with stitches atop his forehead, and carried a rapidly fading ki signature, Gavin was slowly dying because I was a few minutes late to realize his SOS.
Bloodmage was a clever adversary, and variant I was never expecting to meet, he wounded my arm with his spinning magic razor in order to cut my flesh and place his core underneath it. At first, he got me with that cheap trick of immortality, but the more he died, the more predictable it got that something was going on inside my arm.
And then I did it, I slashed my arm to the bone and ripped the core straight out of my radius. For those not keen on humanoid anatomy, that's the name of the bone above your hand.
Anyways, I lost a ton of blood, and the pain was getting to me, yet in spite of that, I was able to shatter Bloodmage's core, his very soul. Bloodmage's physical form then collapsed into a puddle shortly afterwards.
Bloodmage's status was the least of my worries however, Gavin's ki was gone... he died.
I failed him.... and that sad but true thought stayed with me for a while...
As if things couldn't get worse, remember the Cyan Titans I mentioned? Bloodmage was apart of them, and their leader, Ultra, showed his dastardly Hyena face around the Multiverse, along with the footage of me shattering Bloodmage's core, which by the way, omitted the whole me saving Gavin point...
