Present: Age 22
It's now or never I think as I raise my fist to knock on Reiner's door.
The sound of heavy footsteps echo behind the door before it swings open. "Blair?" Reiner questions, looking down at me in shock.
"Can I come in?"
He blinks a few times, shaking his head before stepping back. "Yeah, of course."
I step in cautiously, quickly taking in the appearance of his room which is pretty much identical to mine.
"So what did you want?" Reiner asks, as he softly clicks the door shut.
I turn around to face him, as he stands in front of the door looking beautiful as ever.
I speak quickly, basically copying the words Armin told me earlier. "Reiner, I love you and I want to be with you. I can't look forward to the future if I keep living in the past."
He nods, his eyes immediately lighting up at my words. "I love you too, and I really want to be with you, if you'll give me the chance."
I step up to him, pulling at his shirt so he's face to face with me. His eyes widen in shock at my sudden closeness.
My voice is clear and stern as I look him in the eyes. "Reiner Braun. I swear if you hurt me again you will be sorry. Because I will personally end you myself. Do you understand me?"
His adams apple bobs as he swallows before whispering his response. "Yes."
A smile forms on my lips. "Good. Now kiss me."
There's no moment of hesitation as he presses his lips against mine. I feel like I'm home again the moment his familiar arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
Reiner lifts me up with ease before walking over to his bed. He places me down gracefully before standing up straight.
Reiner's face breaks out into a grin as he looks down at me. "I'm so happy to have you back in my life."
I smile back, reaching for his arm to pull him down onto the bed with me. "Me too." I say before pulling him into another kiss.
We fall back into the pillows with a laugh. Kissing deeper without stopping for air.
I pull away, running my fingers through his short hair before placing a kiss on his neck that causes him to moan.
"Oh, looks like you two are having fun."
"Zeke!" I squeak out as I try to push Reiner's heavy body away from me.
Reiner jolts up, turning towards the door. "Get out Zeke."
Zeke raises his hands in surrender. "Okay, but you guys are kicking me out of my room. I don't see how that's fair." He says just before shutting the door.
