i woke up and rolled over, immediately grabbed my phone.
i had a good time with nazaria last night, we stayed up late watching movies and joking. she ended up leaving at like 12 midnight.
rubbing my eyes, i unlocked my phone seeing i had a message from amiri.
"check outside", was all the text said
i jogged down the stairs and slid my house shoes on. i cracked open the door, squinting my eyes. as i looked down, my eyes widened at the sight of beautiful roses.
"oh my goshhh", i gasped, picking up the flowers like a baby was left on the porch.
i went to the kitchen and propped my phone up on the island , facetiming amiri
the phone connected , "thaaank you so much for these beautiful roses my lovee!", i said with a big grin , showing the flowers in the camera
"beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl", he said propping the camera up on his desk as he played the game
i looked at him and smiled , "when we hanging out again?" , he asked
"come pick me up today"
"alright ima shower rq"
"okay", i said with a smile as i hung up. no, the date didn't go too well. but i was open to giving him a chance.
that romantic spark wasn't there yet, but the flowers were so nice. maybe it'll come.
i put them in a vase with some plant food and water.
i jogged upstairs and got ready for the day

i locked the door as i walked outside after getting a text from amiri saying he was outside. i walked up to his car and hopped in the passenger's seat
"your little hop be so cute", he laughed
"shut up", i chuckled , "where we going?" i added on
"my house?" he questioned. i looked at him and made a face, i knew to be careful. but eh, i don't have to do anything i don't want to so. what could go wrong.
"mmm okay", i said in response
after a 15 minute drive, we arrived at his home. it was a nice two-story family home.
