i woke up in lani's bed, cold as fuck. after bowling, i ended up coming back to coach's house because lani asked me to.
i don't know if lani told coach about us, but i was afraid to leave lani's room.. incase she didn't.
i was on my phone with my volume off because lani was laying on my chest sleeping.
sooner or later, she woke up and i looked down to see her rubbing her eyes
"goodmorning", she said softly
"goodmorning beautiful", i said and she smiled softly
"are you hungry?" , she asked me
"yessss, feed meee", i said chuckling a little and she laughed with me
"okay", she crawled out of the bed and stretched. she threw on a robe and her house slippers and opened the door
she turned around , "are you gonna come keep me company?", she asked me
i got up hesitantly and threw my hoodie on, "don't worry my aunt isn't here", she chuckled before leading me downstairs
she began cooking and i sat on the counter watching her
"did you enjoy my best friend and kai last night?", i asked her
"yesss i love mariii, kai is quiet though"
"yeah he's like that cause he's not around us much, but trust, he's a big kid at heart"
"i can tell", she said scrambling eggs and placing pancakes on a plate
she finished up and fixed our plates, she placed one in front of me and one next to me for herself. we ate together and talked.
