i woke up still under zari as her chest gently heaved up and down. i looked at her and tried to refrain from touching her pretty face.
fuck, what am i talking about? why did i feel for this girl like this? i don't like females— ive never liked a female before.
and for some odd reason, here she was. and i was so into her. so into learning about her.
and it was so effortless.
trying to deny the fact that i was feeling her, i turned over and went back to sleep.
about an hour or so later, she woke up and i felt her get out of the bed.
i turned over and rubbed my eyes, seeing her stretch.
"good morning", she said grabbing her water bottle off the dresser and drinking it
"good morning", i said softly , yawning
"what time you wanna go with the team? bri texted me last night"
"whenever you ready"
"you smoke?", she asked me
"yeah occasionally"
"well i'm boutta wake n bake, you can join if you want. i'll be in the backyard" , she said grabbing a bag and leaving the room
shortly after, i got up and slid one of her house slippers on. i grabbed the throw blanket and wrapped it around myself , jogging down the stairs.
i went to the back door and slid it open. my eyes widened at the sight of her beautiful backyard filled with plants.
"this is niceee" , i said sliding the door back closed
"yeah it's alright" , she said sparking her blunt
i sat next to her on the porch swing and bring my knees to my chest, balled up in the cover
"how'd you sleep?" , she asked me
"good, what about you?"
"real good", she said and i looked at her with a small smile
she passed me the blunt and i puffed it, then inhaled it.
she looked at me as i smoked the blunt , "what?" i asked her, exhaling the smoke through my nose
"nothing, we can stop by your place so you can grab your clothes then go to the bnb"
"okay"
we finished smoking , but we got sleepy high and ended up in a weed coma lol.
....
later on, around 6pm i woke up. i turned over and tapped zari repeatedly
"hm"
"zari we gotta go", i said whispering
she inhaled then checked the time, "oh shit", she said rubbing her eyes
we rushed and got up. zari changed and we left. she stopped by my house, we grabbed me some clothes then pulled up to the bnb.
we walked up to the door and knocked.
"ABOUT DAMN TIME" , bri said with a bottle in her hand
"what the hell is going on here", i laughed
"its a party what you meannn", another teammate, ry , said
we walked in and looked around. it was a nice, trendy two story home. but our teammates were all over the place. eating, twerking, rapping, smoking & drinking.. all at once. a mess.
everyone greeted us and bri approached us again, "not yall coming in together", she said raising an eyebrow
"chill", zari laughed
zari and i found a room so we could put our stuff down. the bed was a bit high, with a flat screen tv on the wall and a bathroom connected.
we jogged back down the stairs to join our teammates.
zari was on the couch rolling up, and i was in the kitchen with ry.
"so what's up with yall?" , ry asked me
"why everybody keep asking that?", i laughed
"zari always looking at you some type of way, and that girl don't like nobody. and we heard about what she did to amiri .. and NOT to mention the fact that yall came in together, the day AFTER we all came to the bnb." , ry said sounding like a detective
i laughed , "i mean i like zari, she's cool. i like being around her and she likes being around me. i don't know about anything beyond that" , i expressed
she raised an eyebrow and walked away from me and i laughed
....
we were in the second living room, playing games and listening to music. we played uno, for the girls, we were now on a drinking game.
"drink if you still talk to your ex", i read aloud and we all looked at bri
"yall suck", bri said as she took a shot and we all laughed
bri, being petty, then picked up a card and read it aloud. "kiss someone in the room or drink", looking at zari and i
"who's the card for??" i asked
"you, lani", ry said with a smile
i looked at everyone, then zari.. per usual she was already looking at me
"fuck it", i said before i walked over to zari
i climbed on top of her as her hands instantly made their way to my waist. she was looking up at me with those seductive eyes of hers, waiting for me.
i placed both of my hands at her cheeks and smashed my lips against hers
as i deepened the kiss, her hands wandered all on my body.
our teammates were shocked and making funny comments, laughing at a comment i heard, i pulled out of the kiss
i looked down at zari, wiped around my mouth and walked back to my seat
"i'm putting a camera in yall room tonight", ry laughed , and we all joined in
