Minji blinked against the soft morning light that filtered through the curtains, slowly coming back to consciousness. She stirred on Hanni's couch, wrapped in a cozy blanket that smelled faintly of Hanni's fabric softener.
As her senses sharpened, Minji took in the familiar surroundings of Hanni's living room. Photos of friends and relatives adorned the walls, a guitar leaned casually in the corner, and the soft scent of Hanni's perfume lingered in the air. It felt like a little sanctuary, a place where she could forget the chaos of their busy lives, if only for a moment.
Reaching for her phone, Minji felt a rush of excitement as she saw the screen light up with notifications. Among the messages, one from Hanni caught her eye, and a smile blossomed on her face as she read:
Hanni: Good morning, sleepyhead! Didn't want to wake you up. Just wanted to say thank you for coming home, i missed you so much. I love you
Her heart warmed at Hanni's sweet words. They made the long hours of filming worth it, a reminder of the love they were building despite their hectic schedules. Minji quickly typed back, feeling a lightness in her chest:
Minji: Good morning, love! I hope you're having a great start to your day. Can't wait to see you again! Love u too
Just as she hit sent, another notification pinged.
Yuna: Hey! Are you free for brunch today? I'd love to hang out before we go back into filming!
Minji smiled and didn't hesitate to spend time with Yuna She quickly replied:
Minji: Absolutely! What time?"
After sending off her messages, Minji decided to take advantage of the extra time she had. She slid out from under the blanket and tiptoed through the living room, careful not to disturb the peaceful atmosphere. She glanced at the clock and saw she still had a bit of time. A quick shower would definitely wake her up fully.
As she stepped into the bathroom, Minji felt a wave of excitement. With a renewed sense of energy, she turned on the shower, letting the warm water cascade over her. It washed away the remnants of sleep, leaving her refreshed and ready to embrace the day ahead. Whatever challenges awaited her, she felt ready to tackle them, especially knowing she would be reunited with Hanni.

The café was bustling as Minji arrived, finding Yuna waving from a corner table. They greeted each other with easy smiles, and soon their conversation was flowing as naturally as ever.
"So, I know we practically live on set, but it's not the same," Yuna said, sipping her iced coffee. "Filming just drains me lately. By the end of the day, I can't even remember what I'm supposed to say."
"Same here," Minji agreed with a chuckle. "I get home, and my brain feels like scrambled eggs."
"Oh, and don't even get me started on lines," Yuna groaned. "Sometimes I swear I'm memorizing them in my sleep."
Their food arrived, and after a few bites, Minji leaned in with a grin. "Alright, outside of work... what's new with you? I know you have something up your sleeve."
Yuna shook her head with a laugh. "You give me too much credit. Honestly, it's been work, work, work. Though I have been exploring new food spots just to shake things up."
Minji's eyes brightened. "I'm doing the same! Really, you have to try this Italian place I found the other night," Minji started, her tone already giving away more than she realized.
Yuna perked up, always interested in new food spots. "Ooh, tell me more!"
Minji leaned back, swirling her coffee. "It's one of those cozy little spots that's, like, tucked away in the city. Dim lighting, candles on the tables... super romantic vibe."
