It was a laid-back afternoon at Hyein's place. Minji was lounging on the couch, scrolling through her phone, while Haerin sat cross-legged on the floor, sifting through music recommendations. Hyein was in the kitchen, stirring something in a pot that smelled questionably edible.
"Wait," Hyein suddenly called out, turning around with a wicked grin. "You're taking Hanni to my beach house this weekend? ALONE?"
Minji blinked, looking up from her phone. "Yeah, why?"
"Alone?" Hyein repeated, walking over and raising an eyebrow. "Like, just the two of you?"
Minji nodded, playing it off casually. "Yeah, I thought we could have some time away, you know? Chill out, explore a bit... nothing crazy."
"Oh, totally," Haerin deadpanned without looking up from her phone. "Because two people who just started dating going to a beach house alone for the whole weekend is just about chilling, right?"
Minji's face flushed slightly, but she shook her head, determined not to let them get to her. "It's not like that! It's just going to be fun. Like, normal date stuff."
Hyein snorted, placing her hands on her hips. "Yeah, because nothing says 'normal date' like a secluded beach house and no one else around."
Haerin looked up now, eyes sparkling with amusement. "You know, Minji, if you're planning on doing more than just holding hands, maybe avoid any furniture that looks breakable."
Minji's face turned beet red, covering it with her hands. "Oh my God, can we not?!"
Hyein threw herself onto the couch beside Minji, laughing loudly. "We're just looking out for you, Minji! You know, making sure you don't, like, knock down half the house if things get... heated."
"Nothing is going to get heated!" Minji protested, but her voice cracked slightly, betraying her embarrassment.
Hyein's grin widened. "Mhm, right. And just to be clear—if you do break anything, it better not be in the living room. I've got cameras there."
"HYEIN!" Minji practically squeaked, burying her face deeper into the cushions.
"I'm kidding! But seriously, just be careful. You're gonna be alone with Hanni, after all," Hyein said, her tone teasing but supportive.
Haerin, ever the calm voice of reason, added in her usual deadpan tone, "We're just saying, if you do decide to take things... further, no one's judging."
Minji groaned into the pillow, her face still hidden. "We're not doing anything like that! Why are you guys like this?"
Haerin shrugged, giving her a knowing look. "We're just teasing. But come on, Minji, a beach house, no interruptions... it's a prime setting."
Minji shot up, glaring at both of them, her face still slightly red. "Can you guys stop? It's going to be totally innocent. We're just gonna relax."
"Whatever helps you sleep at night," Hyein said with a wink. "Just make sure to clean up after yourselves, alright? You know, if anything... happens."
Minji let out a dramatic sigh, defeated by their teasing. "I'm never going to live this down, am I?"
"Absolutely not," Haerin said with a slight smirk.

Friday evening, the drive to Busan was filled with excitement, especially from Hanni, who was bouncing in her seat during all the driving hours, constantly trying to guess where they were headed. Minji kept a calm exterior, refusing to let any hints slip.
