Meggy: What's that red coming towards us?
Sonic: Red? Oh hey, it's Knuckles!
(As Knuckles was gliding down, he noticed the shiny thing in Sonic's hand.)
Knuckles (Thinking): That looks like a piece of the Master Emerald. Sonic shouldn't be having that!
(Knuckles landed right near the four.)
Sonic: Hey, Knuckles!
(Knuckles then tried to attack them, but they all dodged.)
Mario: Uh-oh!
Sonic: Woah! What are you doing?
Knuckles: Hand the emerald over, this scheme of yours is done.
Meggy: Woah there! If you want that shiny emerald over there, you'll have to go through us!
(And then Knuckles and Team Sonic charged towards each other and crashed into each other, knocking the two emeralds out.)
Knuckles: Wait, that's not a shard of the Master Emerald but...
Eggman: A CHAOS EMERALD! And two of them, too. Great find, people!
(Eggman pulled out Chaos who absorbed the two emeralds, turning into Chaos 4.)
Sonic: You won't get away with this!
(And Eggman zipped off.)
Meggy: Damn it! He ran off!
Mario: What do you mean by again? This exact scenario's happened before?
Tails: Yep, last time Angel Island fell, Eggman tried to take over the Island... I have no doubt he's trying to do it this time too!
(Then Mario thought of those words... Angel Island fell... Then he remembered...)

Tails: Guys, we can't let him get away! We can take the Tornado from my workshop.
Mario: Okie Dokie!
Meggy: Sounds good!
Sonic: Alright. Let's crack this Egghead!
{Frosty Rods}
Big: Right, you are!
(They pulled out their rods.)
Alright, Froggy! Time to come out!
Toad: Okay, smartasses, and what makes you guys think the frog isn't going to FREEZE to death.
Luigi: Oh, I'm sure he's not going to freeze to death, or anything like that!
SMG4: Yeah, just trust the process. We can make it work.
Toad: Well, you guys definitely haven't fished before. Except for Luigi, considering his catch.
SMG4: I-I'VE FISHED BEFORE!
Toad: You weren't there for that SMG4! And anyways... I caught it...
(He pulled out Froggy.)
SMG4: Oh, nice catch!
Luigi: Yeah, great job Toad!
Toad: Yeah, yeah... Whatever...
(Then Froggy jumped off.)
Big: Froggy!
Toad: Here we go again...
{Awakening}
(Meanwhile, in an area far away, a metallic hedgehog was activated.)
Eggman: Rise and shine, Metal Sonic...
