Return Of The Flashbacks

(Tails began to wake up in the Ruins.)

Toad: Finally, you're awake.

Tails: Toad? What are you doing here?

Toad: We're chasing this stupid frog.

Tails: Well, Sonic's side of the group got blasted off when the Tornado got hit! If we're gonna get to the Egg Carrier, I'm gonna need to finish my prototype.

Toad: Prototype?

Luigi: Toad, I think he has a second plane that he's going to finish to get on this "Egg Carrier".

(Then Tails noticed something shiny...)

Tails: Oh wow! There's a Chaos Emerald!

Luigi: A... Chaos Emerald?

(Froggy showed up and ate the Chaos Emerald.)

SMG4: There! There's Froggy!

(Froggy began to run off, or... Y'know what, you get the joke by now, I'm not gonna repeat it again.)

Tails: Hey, wait up! Come back! Stop!

(Tails chased Froggy into a cave.)

Luigi: Maybe we shouldn't go in there.

Toad: Froggy's in that cave, and we're getting that damn frog back in that cave, whether you like it or not!

(Toad then dragged Luigi into the cave. SMG4 and Big followed them not too far behind.)

Big: Come back, Froggy!

(Tails was led into the desert and with Big, SMG4, Luigi, and Toad nearby. Tails jumped off onto the sand and began to snowboard, or I guess since it's sand he's going snowboarding on, sandboard down the desert. The others followed behind him.)

Toad: Jeez, I don't have time to be snowboarding down sand.

(Eventually, they made it to the bottom and caught Froggy. Suddenly, a red orb began to circle around Tails, and suddenly, he was somewhere else...)

Tails: Uh oh. I thought I was in the desert. Where am I?

(Tails walked before he found an echidna named Tikal.)

Tikal: The servers are the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Hello there, how are you?

Tails: Umm...what were you saying before?

Tikal: Huh? It's something my grandmother taught me. I will never forget it. It goes like this... "The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos." But I'm still not sure what it all means. But the number 7...is the same as the number of Emeralds there are.

Tails: Emeralds?

Tikal: Forgive me, but I don't think we've met before... I'm Tikal... And you are?

(But before Tails could answer, he was sent to Station Square, where Big was heading towards him and tripped.)

Big: Waaa!

Tails: Yikes!

(Tails then let go of Froggy.)

Big: Hey, wait for me Froggy!

Toad: Looks like the chase continues... Again...

Tails: That was weird... Now where was I? Oh right, the Chaos Emerald! Perfect! That should get the Tornado 2 up and going!

(Then Tails ran off to his workshop. Meanwhile, Knuckles was collecting more Master Emerald Shards at Lost World. After he finished collecting, the red glowing light returned and sent him to the Master Emerald Shrine.)

Knuckles: Where am I? This is strange.

(He looked around and then found Tikal, who was talking to the Master Emerald.)

Tikal: I beg of you. Hear me now. My father is coming here soon. And I fear what may happen. You must take everyone away from here! Oh please! So, are you saying you can't leave this place? I understand... Let me talk to my father again! There must be a better way to do this.

(Tikal then turned to some chao.)

Don't worry, my friends. I won't let you down. I must do something...quickly.

(Tikal then ran off and Knuckles was sent back to the Master Emerald Shrine of... The present.)

Knuckles: I'm back at the altar? What the? This is beginning to get mind blowing. Oh... I remember! I need to get the rest of the Master Emerald Shards! I have to restore them.

(Knuckles went over to the shrine and placed the pieces of the shards.)

I need to find the remaining pieces.

(Then Knuckles ran off.)
