Viserys' had requested that his family would be having dinner this evening. Aegon was against the idea at first, but Alana reassured him that everything would be fine.

Ever since Rhaenyra had showed in King's landing, Aegon had been acting differently, at court he kept on looking back at Aemond, and muttering to himself about Rhaenyra and her family and his obvious dislike towards his half sister.

At dinner, everyone was here. Helaena and Alana were talking among themselves, Aegon and Aemond were surprisingly talking with each other which they normally did not do, Aegon would usually stick by Alana's side and hope dinner would go by fast but these were strange times for Aegon.

Then the doors opened revealing Viserys' on a chair getting carried by his guards, he looked on the verge of death. The ones whom were sitting at the table stood up, whereas the ones standing up went to their seats, and stood by it.

Alana walked to her seat, her hand gently rubbing her stomach. Aegon was already at his seat, looking at Alana as she stood infront of her seat.

Aegon looked back at Viserys and grabbed Alana's freehand looking for his comfort.

"You usually do not talk to Aemond." Alana spoke to Aegon her voice quiet so only he could hear, rubbing her thumb against his hand.

"He is my brother, I can speak to him if I wish too." Aegon muttered back to her, looking at her, as Viserys was put between Alicent and Rhaenyra.

Alana furrowed her eyebrows at the sudden attitude he had given her, she looked away from him and towards The King, perhaps it was her hormones, but she felt a tightness in her throat and her eyes felt a little glossy.

"What is wrong?" Aegon furrowed his eyebrows, as everyone else sat down, including them.

Perhaps they should have been silent and waited for the King to speak, "I am tired, tis all." Alana quickly spoke, wanting to be done with this conversation.

Aegon did not speak after Alana spoke, as Viserys had begun talking. "How good it is..to see you all tonight..." A breathless Viserys spoke, looking around the room, looking at Rhaenyra the longest.

"A Prayer before we begin?" Alicent asked Viserys, her green dress standing out.

Viserys slowly nodded, "Yes."
