Alana sat in the carriage with Helaena and Aemond, both were in their own heads, thinking of what the day would eventually come to; Aegon being crowned but both had different thoughts of him.
Alana hadn't seen Aegon since early this morning, she had woken up to his guard ushering him out of the room most likely to get him ready for the coronation, but so early? It made her uneasy in a way.
She had wondered all night if this was the right choice; had she made the right choice to trust Alicent's words that her children would be safe from harms way once her husband is crowned.
Would Rhaenyra harm her children, just for the throne?
The thought of her children, especially one on the way being harmed, terrified her as any mother would. Alana let out a sigh, looking out of the small carriage window that was to her right, putting a hand on her protruding stomach that had dropped in the past days. She had felt some cramps in her stomach, but they were not close together so she brushed it off.
Alana wondered how Aegon was, if her words the prior night were truly helpful to him. Alana had been wanting to be with him in the carriage before the ceremony, but Alicent insisted that she'd be with him instead.
Alana wanted this day to be over already, but it hadn't even started.
"It should not be him." Aemond suddenly spoke out, breaking Alana out of her thoughts. She was surprised Aemond never started conversation with her.
"Excuse me?" Alana furrowed her eyebrows, looking at him.
Aemond shook his head, what he was going to say brushed away and said something else. "I would have thought you'd be wiser, I suppose. Aegon being crowned, will not stop your children from being harmed, children are harmed daily."
Alana was shocked, she didn't know what to say. Why was he saying this to her now?
"Stop." Helaena looked at Aemond, who shrugged his shoulders, looking out of the window.

The once dirty Dragonpit, Alana had been into twice, had turned into a coronation. There was a stage set in the middle of the room, Otto and Ser Criston stood at, along with others. Though the room the somewhat nice, the smell did not go away.
Helaena, Aemond, and Alana also stood on the platform Alana stood next to Helaena, and she stood next to Aemond. It was quiet before bells started to ring, as Alicent started to walk up the platform, and walked up the stairs helped by Ser Criston.
