Stiles POV

I woke up with an ache throughout my entire body. It was something I've never felt before. I felt weaker than normal, or at least the recent normal. The room I was in had one single light bulb hanging from the ceiling that didn't provide nearly enough light to see the whole interior.

I pulled at the chains around me. Why won't they break? Derek taught me how to break out of chains. I know I was doing it right, I've done this a billion times.

"Oh, sweetie. You'll never break out of them." A girls voice erupted through the silence.

"What?" I asked to the unseen female.

"Wolfsbane dear." She said stepping into the light. Blonde ringlets bouncing as she walked closer to me.

"What the hell do you want!?" I spat in her face.

"Derek, obviously. Are you that dense?" She asked.

"Then why did you attack me?" I retaliated.

"What better way to get to an alpha then through his mate? You already know this, Stilinski. Stop playing dumb." She said harshly.

"Leave him alone." Another voice came.

I laughed, "Of course, Gavin." I thought aloud. "Why haven't you just killed me already?"

"I don't want you dead Stiles. Abused? Yes. In all forms of the word." He smiled at me rubbing his hand down my chest.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I spit in his face.

"Bad decision, kid." He said before punching me.

"You call that a punch?" I lied, that hurt really fucking bad.

"Hmm..I have an idea." Gavin turned his attention toward the other.

"Please, show me." He said. She walked to the other side of the room picking up a knife. She laughed to herself.

"Are you guna stare at it..or?" Why do I always have to open my mouth? She brought the knife back behind her head before hurling it toward me. The knife landed in the middle of my chest sticking out half way. Gavin brought his hand up to fuck with the knife. Jabbing it every which way making a scream emerge through me.

Derek POV

"You've got to be fucking kidding me guys!" I yelled at the pack. "All I asked was for you to keep an eye on him at school!" Scott rolled his eyes.

"You do realize its not always possible for us to do that? We have other classes that we have to be in." He said.

"I'm not asking you to sit in his classes with him. Just walk in the halls with him, make sure he gets there on time. Otherwise he's live bait!" I yelled.

"Derek we will find him." Isaac said softly. I felt a pain in my chest. It was excruciating and I had to sit down.

"Are you okay?" Lydia asked as I grabbed my chest.

"Physically yeah, but Stiles isn't." I said worriedly.

If I could just get a scent then I would know where Gavin had him. I could save him.

We spent all night searching. I made it back to my loft finding someone I never wanted to see again.

"Well, hello nephew." He said as I walked in.

"Peter." I replied harshly.

"I'm here to help don't be an asshole."

"Yeah, like my psychotic uncle could possibly help me with any situation." I responded.

"I know where Stiles is." He smirked.

"What did you do to him?" I said holding myself back from strangling the man in front of me.

"Oh not me. But I saw who. I didn't know Gavin hated you as much as your father hated his." Peter said.

"That's besides the point! Where the hell is he?" I snapped.

"Think back to the time you and Gavin were still friends. Where would you meet as your parents fought so you two could hang out? He wouldn't forget, you did. But he didn't." Peter said walking out.

Gavin and I went everywhere before the rivalry actually blew up. We were always finding new places so our parents wouldn't catch us. How was I supposed to know which spot?

Oh my god.

Flashback-Derek and Gavin- age 10

"I don't understand why we are here?" Derek said, following Gavin into an old factory.

"I thought this place was really cool. And I have a game we can play!" Gavin smiled dragging the other inside.

"Gavin, I told you I need to go home! My dad's going to kill me." He responded. Gavin shrugged pushing Derek against a fence inside the factory.

"Don't move." He said, as he started chaining the other up.

"Gavin!" Derek growled pathetically. He was just learning about his wolf, his first full moon the month before.

"Oh come on it'll be fun! My dad used to play this with me before he started fighting with your dad." Gavin said. Derek sighed giving into the others demands.

"Only for a minute. Okay?" Gavin nodded in response.

Present

I'm coming, Stiles.

I'll kill him. Twice.

He's a pathetic asshole and he's following in the footsteps of his father. And look where he ended up, murdered. By mine. And I won't hesitate to do the same to him.
