Kokichi X Reader Oneshots

Halloween

Your class was hosting a Halloween party this year over at Kirumi's house (or mansion, rather). Everyone was expected to wear costumes, and you planned for a while what you wanted to wear. The whole while, you could not stop wondering what Kokichi was going to dress up as. Was he going to go with something super scary so he can scare people? Or did he want to go with something weird and funny? You didn't know, and that made it all the more exciting for you to attend the event.

After a long preparation, you made it to Kirumi's place. You could see that a bunch of your classmates were already there. You rang the doorbell, and Kirumi greeted you cordially. As you stepped inside, you were greeted with loud chatter and halloween themed music. You were observing all the detailed decorations when you were startled by a sudden "BOO!" from behind you.

You turned around to find Kokichi with a playful smile on his face. "You're such a scaredy cat!"

"I honestly should have expected this," you shrugged.

"Nice costume though," Kokichi complimented, inspecting what you were wearing.

You blushed. "You too. But uhh... What exactly is it that you're wearing?" You ask, observing his white suit with a large white cap and cape.

"You can't tell? I'm a vampire phantom thief!" Kokichi proclaimed, baring the fake fangs on his teeth.

"Ohh, I see. That's really creative!"

"Of course it is! I was a phantom thief for a previous Halloween, and since it's my favorite costume, I wanted to spice it up a bit!"

"Makes sense," you conclude, knowing that this was a classic Kokichi thing to do.

"Come on, let's check out the rest of the stuff!" Kokichi yelled, dragging you by the arm.

You spent several hours doing fun activities Kirumi had planned, and laughing whenever Kokichi shoveled handfuls of candy into his mouth. When the party was coming to a close, your class came up with the idea to go to the house with the scariest decorations nearby. You weren't too keen on the idea, but you decided to go just to be with Kokichi and everyone else.

When you arrived, you were a bit scared so you kind of stayed towards the back. But there Kokichi was, right at the front, purposely triggering all of the motion censored animatronics to scare the other people in the class. It was scary, but at least the owners of the house gave out large candy bars as a reward for getting through it.

Alas, it was late, and people were starting to head home. You were sad the night was coming to a close, but at least you had a great time!

"Hey Kokichi," you said. "It's late, and I have to go now."

"Aww, already? I'm not done scaring people yet! Are you sure you don't want to join?" Kokichi pouted.

"I would love to but I also need to head back. I'm sorry."

"Oh, alright, well let me at least give you this," Kokichi said, reaching into his candy bag. He pulled out the large candy bar he got from the house the whole class visited. "Here," he stated.

You took the bar. "Why?" You asked inquisitively.

"Sorry if I scared ya. And I have plenty more anyways, so you can have it."

Your eyes widened at his sudden kindness. "Thanks!" You exclaimed, smiling brightly. "I... had a really great time with you tonight."

A mischievous grin grew on Kokichi's face.

"What is it?" You ask, knowing something was up.

Kokichi walked up to you, soon getting really close. "And what is the reason why you had a good time?" He smiled slyly.

"W-well we did a lot of fun activities with everyone..." You stuttered and looked away, a bit nervous with how close he was.

"Are you suuure?" Kokichi teased. "You know I can tell when you're lying."

"Yes... I'm sure," you said shakily.

"Well, alright then!" Kokichi exclaimed with a big smile. Suddenly, he moved forward and hugged you tightly. When he let go after a moment, he yelled "bye!" and ran off.

You stood there in disbelief. Was that a trick, or a treat? You wondered. You didn't always understand Kokichi's antics, so you didn't know what that hug really meant. Either way, you enjoyed it. You smiled on your way back home and munched on some candy, thinking about how much Kokichi was enjoying scaring people at that very moment.
