Chapter - 5

Victoria's POV:

I reached home and i immediately went to take a nice hot shower. I stood under the shower head as the hot water cascaded down my body. I groaned as i felt the tension leave my muscles. While bathing, my thoughts drifted to Alexander. I cant believe that after all these years, fate have made our paths cross again. It felt... Nostalgic.

Alexander and i have met in high school, we were classmates. Alexander have always been a heart throb. Many girls or i should say,every girl in our school swooned over him. While me? Meh i didnt even gave a damn about him. I hated him. I hated his arrogant and cocky nature. I never knew why.. Just why girls were falling at his feets while in reality, he was just a annoying egoistic brat. We never really talked to each other until...

One day in exams, I was the one who came first instead of him. This made his competitive nature flare up and that's how we started fighting for the title of 'the best'. In every thing, sometimes he came first while o came second, and sometimes he came second while i came first. It was like a never ending loop. He also used to annoy me so much. Always teasing me and messing with me and our fight continued.

But suddenly, when were in our last year of high school, his family and he shifted abroad for personal reasons. And i never met him again until today.

I dunno why i suddenly remembered our past. I sighed and turned the tap off and changed in some oversized pajamas. I ate something, and went to bed.

But i was not able to sleep.. I was still thinking about HIM. i tossed and turned all night until sleep finally catched up on me.
