Alexander's POV:

I pouted as i looked away from her, still feeling the adrenaline rush from running. But then.. I sniffled and the sweet smell of boba filled my nostrils which made my mouth water. I gulped, a cup of boba wouldn't hurt. So i started walking towards the shop until i heard her yelling at me.

"hey?! Where are u Going?!

I looked over my shoulder." why do you care?". I said with a smirk which made her fume.

"i am your rival. So i should know where you are going" Victoria said with a pout and she followed me.

I just chuckled and ordered a cup of boba.

"hey there, can i get a matcha boba?"
I asked the staff and he nodded as he started Preparing my drink.

Victoria stared at me for a while before she spoke up.

"can i get a taro boba plzzz?" she asked the staff with hopeful eyes and a huge eager grin. The staff nodded and gave her a smile and started preparing her drink too.

I got a lil' jealous when i sae the guy staring at her with a affectionate smile. But i quickly shook the feeling of jealousy away, reminding myself that she is my rival yet AGAIN...!

A few moments later, we had our boba teas in our hands. I watched as she sat down on the grass and happily enjoyed her drink. I was reluctant at first but gave in and i sat beside her.

There was a brief silence between us, which was suddenly broken by her small.. "so?". Victoria was asking me as she was shaking her boba and was drinking it.

"what?" i asked as i was not looking at her.

"how have you been all these years?". She asked me. She was trying to act nonchalant but i noticed the underlying curiosity and something which i cant clearly pinpoint.

"good.. I guess" i gave her a vague answer.. Not wanting to reveal too much to her

Victoria raised an eye brow in response and scoffed. I knew that she could read me like an open book.

"if you don't want to tell me, so be it. But don't give me those vague answers" she said with a pout.

Damn. That.. Was cute. That pouty expression was REALLY cute. And even tho i tried to resist.. But i cant help the small smile that tugged at the corner of my lips. I sighed and went back to drinking my boba and silence settled between us again.

After Victoria had finished her boba, she got up and threw the cup away.

"well then.. I'll get going now. See ya later.. Rival" she said with a smirk before she walked away.

The way she said the word 'rival' made my heart skip a beat. I grumbled in annoyance beacuse I let her have this effect on me. I quickly downed my drink, threw away the cup, got up and started walking back to my house with my hands stuffed in my pockets.
