It's been 3 days since my mother was buried. I've hardly ate anything, but that's not because of her well partly it is but it's also because of the cancer.
I never got to tell my mama about me having cancer and I'm alright with that because I didn't want to add more stress to what she was already going through.
"baby you know you're mama's in a better place now don't you?" Jack said sitting in my lap.
"she really not, she just in the ground." I said being so for real. I wish I could be delusional and believe she was in heaven. But nobody is.
I watched SpongeBob while Jackie Iowa son her phone. She's been telling me about Aja acting a little salty towards her.
"you and Aja?" I asked her.
"still not talking, and I'm not gonna go talk to her when Ian do nothing to her to begin with." Jackie said shrugging.
my phone vibrated making Jackie look down at it. It was a message from a number reminding me of my appointment tomorrow.
"you have another appointment tomorrow baby what's going on? You've been 3 times in 3 weeks." She said looking at me.
I had her undivided attention so I could tell she was seriously concerned about it.
"just follow ups. Nothing... too serious." I said knowing I was lying.
I could tell she had more questions but she just didn't ask them and I'm glad cause I don't want to keep lying to her.
"kb wants us to come over to her house, so she can check up on you and you can just get out of the house." She said.
"sure." I said taking a deep breath and grabbing my clothes so I could go shower, it 6:49 pm.

I don't know what's going on and why she's not telling me anything, she did this same thing when she went last week.
I grabbed my phone seeing that they were texting in the group chat.

Alysha- great, now guys we really got to make this special for her.
Sydney- and if she anything like Jackie don't have me wasting my time.
Jackie- dude I was on the phone😭😭😭😭.

Chelsea- what is she doing now?
Jackie- she's in the shower, but yall she acting weird. And like she's drying up. She's hardly eating and all.
Aja- like losing weight?
Jackie- yeah and like I'd literally have to beg her to eat. She's getting stupid thin.
kb- I'll talk to her when she gets here, maybe she'll talk to me.
I took a deep breath and put my phone down in the bed. I don't know what's happening, I'm actually getting scared.
I wiped away my tears I didn't even know was there. I really love this girl man. This sucks.

I got out the shower and did my night time routine, I put on deodorant, lotion and perfume. I brush my teeth even though I knew I'd brush them again when I got home.
I put my socks on with my Ugg slides and walked out the bathroom with my locs in a messy bun.
"bathrooms all yours." I said kissing Jackie's lips. She seemed like she was sad or something and I know what that's about.
