I stood up after taking a moment to rest, feeling a renewed strength that surged through me. I stretched a little, surprised by how light my body felt—my health and mana were fully restored, thanks to Aqua. She'd done her job well, albeit not without her usual grumbling. I'd even drained some of her mana for good measure, knowing it'd restore itself eventually. As I turned, my eyes landed on Aqua, who seemed to be in the middle of an animated lecture, crouched down in front of Fou, who tilted his head at her with a mix of confusion and impatience. She was trying, in vain, to teach him some kind of trick.

"Oi, what are you doing?" I muttered under my breath, almost feeling bad for the little guy. Aqua had a talent for complicating simple things, especially when she was bored.

Sensing my gaze, Aqua turned her head towards me with an expectant look. "Hey, Kazuma!" she called out. "I know you're just as close to perfect as I am now that you've got your health and mana back. Don't you feel like...I dunno, somehow connected to me?"

I felt a strange pang as she said it. The weird thing was, I actually did. It was faint, almost like a whisper in the back of my mind. I couldn't quite place it, but something about her presence felt a little...closer? More familiar? Yeah, weird was putting it mildly.

Before I could really think on it, a crackling voice interrupted over the bracelet wrapped around my wrist. Dr. Roman's voice crackled to life, sounding concerned.

"Kazuma, are you okay?" he asked, a hint of urgency coloring his words. "I sensed a new servant's energy close to you just now—"

My gaze went right to Aqua, who looked just as surprised, eyes wide in pure offense.

"Wha—hey! I am not a servant!" she snapped, practically shouting into the bracelet as though Dr. Roman would feel the full force of her indignation from wherever he was.

Dr. Roman's voice returned, quieter but still baffled. "Kazuma, who is she?" he asked, his tone filled with genuine curiosity.

I sighed, scratching the back of my head as I looked between Aqua and the bracelet. How was I supposed to explain this? "She's...complicated," I started, choosing my words carefully. "She sort of appeared when I was nearly killed by Heracles. Ever since then, she's been by my side—loud, and more of a handful than anyone else I've met." Aqua glared at me, clearly catching every word.

Dr. Roman's voice crackled over the bracelet again, his tone now more thoughtful, even a bit perplexed. "Kazuma, from these readings... I'd say your friend Aqua is definitely a servant." His words seemed to linger in the air.

Aqua's jaw dropped, and her cheeks flushed in pure indignation. "Excuse me? A servant?!" She crossed her arms and glared down at the bracelet like it had personally insulted her.

Dr. Roman's voice remained calm, almost as if he were trying to soothe her. "Please, Miss Aqua. 'Servant' is just a term we use for those who serve as legendary heroes, individuals summoned from across time, space, and even mythology. It's a title, not an insult. Servants are champions who wield exceptional strength and skill; they're bound to a Master to help achieve a common goal."

Aqua blinked, the fire in her eyes easing just a bit. "A legendary hero?" She mulled that over, her expression slowly shifting from anger to amusement. She lifted her head proudly, a smug smirk tugging at her lips. "Oh, fufufu... well, then it makes sense, doesn't it? I'm a goddess, after all. Summoning a goddess? Of course, I would have a legendary aura," she declared, clearly savoring each word.

Dr. Roman audibly gulped on the other end of the line. "Actually... you do have a certain... divine aura around you," he said cautiously, as if treading carefully through a minefield. "Kazuma, it seems like you've really hit the jackpot. Summoning a divine being is an exceedingly rare occurrence."
