The tension of the battlefield was suddenly interrupted by an unexpected and bizarre sight.

"Vive la France!!!" a powerful, jubilant voice echoed through the air, and I couldn't help but turn toward the source.

From the sky, descending like some sort of divine miracle—or a really dramatic theater performance—came a glass carriage drawn by translucent, glowing horses. The entire contraption sparkled like it was made of pure crystal.

"What the hell is that?" I muttered, squinting at the ridiculous display.

A blast of mana surged from the carriage, striking toward Jalter and her Servants. The explosion sent them stumbling back, their footing momentarily shaken.

"Are they allies?" Ritsuka asked, clutching Mash's arm as he tried to process the situation.

I crossed my arms and squinted at the scene. "Don't know. But what I do know is... that's definitely a Servant."

As the carriage gracefully landed beside us, a vibrant figure stepped out—a Japanese woman, her elegant outfit making her look like something out of a historical drama. Her pale skin and intense gaze betrayed a fierceness beneath her beauty.

"Hop on!" she called out urgently, her voice filled with authority.

"What?" I blinked, caught off guard.

"No time to explain!" she shouted again, glancing at the enemies regrouping. "Get in if you want to live!"

"She's quoting movies now?" I muttered, looking at the others.

Aqua gave me a pointed look, clearly unimpressed. "Kazuma, just listen for once and get in the carriage. Or should I leave you to fend for yourself?"

I glanced back at the battlefield. Jalter was shaking off the effects of the mana blast, her glare sharper than ever, and her Servants were quickly regaining their composure. Aqua was strong—there was no denying that—but even I knew that if we stayed too long, we'd be overwhelmed eventually.

"Fine," I grumbled, nodding at the others. "Let's go. Everyone, in the carriage!"

Mash helped Ritsuka into the glowing carriage as Aqua hopped on with her usual grace. I followed close behind, giving the strange Japanese Servant a wary look.

"You'd better not be taking us to our doom," I said, settling into my seat.

She smirked, her gaze not leaving the battlefield. "I have no interest in harming you, but if you prefer, I could toss you back to those enemies instead."

"Okay, okay! Just drive the carriage!" I retorted, waving her off.

As the horses neighed and the carriage lurched forward, I couldn't help but glance back at Jalter, whose fury was nearly tangible as she screamed curses at us. The other Servants began their pursuit, but the carriage picked up speed, leaving them behind in the dust.

"We could've fought them, you know..." I muttered under my breath.

Aqua rolled her eyes. "And waste my energy on them? Please. This is more efficient."

"Efficient, my ass..." I grumbled, leaning back. Something told me this wasn't the last we'd see of Jalter and her crew, but for now, escaping in a magical glass carriage was better than dealing with a goddess scolding me about wasting her divine power.

>>>>

As the glass carriage slowed to a halt in the shadow of the dense forest, we all hopped off one by one. The shimmering, almost ethereal glow of the carriage faded as it came to a stop, its magical energy dimming to blend into the natural surroundings.
