The family doctor arrived about five minutes after Yoko called him. He lived in the neighborhood, and knew the Sakaki family well enough to be expecting the call any day now. After all, Yuya had a weaker immune system than most boys his age, and could be consistently counted on to get sick between three and five times every winter. What the doctor found interesting was the fact that all of Yuya's counterparts had all gotten sick at the same time.
"It's just a cold," the doctor reassured Yoko after giving each of the boys a checkup. "They should be fine within two weeks, as long as they get lots of rest and soup and fluids. And of course medicine."
"No' happening..." Yugo said immediately, turning to hide his face in Yuto's chest. "No bedicine... Never... Yucky..."
"Is i' pill or liquid?" Yuri asked. The doctor held up a bottle, "Liquid. Tell me, how often do you three get sick?"
"Like... dree or four 'ibes every win'er," Yuri muttered, before coughing. He whined in pain.
"Yeah, sabe," Yugo said. Yuto looked away, but nodded in agreement. The doctor raised an eyebrow. "I wonder if your illnesses always happen at the same time, or if this one is simply a coincidence."
Yuri shrugged. "Guess we all inheri'ed Zarc's weak ibbune sys'eb," he said. Yuya opened one eye sleepily. "Wai'... Zarc had a weak ibbune sys'eb 'oo?"
"Yep," Yuri said. The doctor blinked in surprise. "Well, I suppose it does make sense then."
He packed up his bag and handed the medicine to Yoko. "Call me if there are any significant changes."
"Thank you, Doctor," Yoko said. "Now I just need to figure out how to get them to take their medicine."
"Ask Sora," Yuri said, flopping down on his pillow.
