Approval

Yuya woke up the next morning to find that Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo were not in bed with him. But there was the familiar feeling of their presence in his mind. He blinked in confusion, since they had been one just yesterday.

"Guys?" he asked, allowing himself to sink into the mindscape. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, we just... don't wanna face your parents when they find out that the four of us are dating now..." Yugo said awkwardly. Yuya blinked, then smiled. "They won't be upset! They'll be fine with it, as long as none of us ever do anything to each other without consent!"

"Yeah, well... still," Yuto mumbled. Yuri nodded, "We're just gonna hide here until we're sure it's safe."

"Alright," Yuya said with a shrug, before getting up from his bed to get ready for the day. Today was Wednesday, but it was also a holiday which meant he didn't have school, so he dressed himself in some of his new clothes before heading to the kitchen.

Yuya's parents were already eating when the tomato arrived and sat down. There were plates on the table for Yuto, Yuri, and Yugo too, but the three of them remained in the mindscape. Which didn't go unnoticed by Yoko, who asked, "Where are your counterparts?"

"They're hiding from you guys," Yuya said, smiling affectionately when Yugo protested in the mindscape. Yoko and Yusho blinked. "From us? Why?"

"Because they're worried about how you'll react when I tell you that the four of us have started a relationship all together," Yuya explained, munching on a pancake.

"Wait, you mean... all four of you are in a single relationship... together?" Yusho asked slowly. Yuya nodded, "Yeah!"

His parents were silent for a moment, processing the information. Then Yoko smiled brightly. "Aw, how cute!"

"Well, as long as you're happy then I don't have any objections," Yusho said.

Yuya saw Yuri's spirit appear next to him, staring incredulously at Yusho. "Wait, really? I wasn't expecting the father to approve..." Yuya smiled and relayed the message to Yusho.

"Well... as long as he doesn't try to do anything to you without your consent or break your heart, and as long as you're happy, I suppose I don't really disapprove," Yusho replied. "But he'd better take good care of you!"

"Hurray!" Yugo cheered. "They don't hate us!" And with that he, Yuto, and Yuri defused and sat down at the table to eat breakfast.
