A/N: im literally in love with Leon s Kennedy from Resident evil (especially Re4) , but im buns at this game 💔💔💔
With the help of the Kiriko travelers, [Y/N] and her new (fictional) friends arrive at the city of Zaban to finally pass the hunter exam.
We arrive at a certain sushi restaurant where the hunter exam is supposedly held, the Kiriko guiding us announces that the hunter exam is held here for the purpose of not drawing attention.
The restaurant isn't really that big , there is a cook at the counter, he's frying something as he notices us "Welcome take a seat."
"Is the backroom available?" The Kiriko asks. The cook immediatly locks eyes with him
"What are you having?"
"The steak combo please. The one that'll make us see the light, make it four."
"Four? Wasn't it three in the anime? Maybe a small detail because I was added by the Universe or whoever sent me here."
"Combo for four huh?" There is tension in the air as he asks the last question. "How do you want it cooked?"
"Grilled slowly over a low flame till done please." the Kiriko replies.

We enter a pretty small room with only 4 chairs around the table after the cook let us go to the back room.
"So the number of chairs also changed? I guess my presence changed the story line."
"where are all the other applicants?!" Leorio asks confused.
"I can't wait for that steak combo!" Gon exclaims.
Kurapika sighs and turns to the green haired kid. "Gon, that was just a password to get us inside, there is no steak combo."
"Not gonna lie even if it was just a code, I think a steak combo doesn't sound so bad." I add.
"So true, I'm sure that steak combo would taste sooo good!! I guess we don't get to eat then?" Gon pouts.
"Unfortunately." I reply.

After the Kiriko said it's goodbyes and closes the door, the room starts moving and seemingly going down like an elevator.
"It seems this room is actually and elevator." Kurapika points out as everyone looks around surprised at the sudden movement.
Leorio sits down on one of the four chairs "Mhm, that explains it, this bastard said he'll see us next year because he expected us to fail." He snarks.
"Once every three years." Kurapika replies
"What was that?" Leorio comments
"That is how often a rookie passes the exam." The blonde continues. "Huh?"
"Its that unusual?" Gon asks surprised at how low the number of rookie contestants pass at the hunter exam.
