~Hazel's POV~
I was worried sick.
I wasn't sure what could have happened, and I thought about what would happen if everything went wrong. Harry, Liam and Zayn would all be dead and I would have no motivation staying here. I know the guilt would be on my conscience forever if something did end up happening to them. I stayed up late the next night and waited for alarms to sound, for my father to get up, for something to go wrong. But the thing is, it didn't. I'm not sure when I drifted off to sleep but it was late. I woke up the next morning to my mothers voice, my father wasn't there for breakfast, which automatically reawakened my fears, but then again my father sometimes skipped breakfast. I was quiet but vigilant on my way to the cell house. The island had an electric chair and its own morgue where they would burn all the bodies into ashes. Part of me wanted to walk by there just so I could see if there was any commotion, but I stopped myself because if there was in fact anything going on there because of the guys, I'd be burned into my mind forever, and I didn't want that.
It may have just been me but the front office was dead silent, only raising my suspicions. I walked to my office quietly and sat there for the longest time, just over analyzing everything. Although those doubtful thoughts vanished once I saw Zayn walk through my door unscathed, same with Liam. I hugged them both, despite Zayn's protests. I couldn't help myself though, because I knew if they were okay, then that meant Harry was too. They were both ecstatic, telling me what a success it was. I would have wanted to hear it from Harry first, but it was enlightening to say the least. I had eaten my lunch in a hurry and got back to the main cell house quickly.
"Oh my god." I breathed, running into Harry as soon as he walked through the door. He had his signature cheeky smile plastered on his face and opened his arms out to me to engulf me in a hug.
"I told you everything would work out." He smiled, just before leaning down to kiss me.
"I was...still worried." I admitted between kisses, walking us both over to our usual seats with our lips still locked. Harry being much taller than me, he stumbled a bit with his long legs and we both fell into the chair. I giggled and situated myself into his lap.
"Tell me everything!" I gushed, wanting to hear him tell it.
He shrugged, "I'll admit it was terrifying, but completely worth it. The hair took me all night but I managed to finish and then," He yawned lightly, "Wake the other guys and they situated their heads like I did mine. We tested them out on the very last count for the night. So I had to wait for the guard, which took a while actually, I didn't know the time- which reminds me, we need a watch- but we sat there and waited them out. It was when we heard the echoing footsteps of the guard that I started to freak out, everything that you said to me had started replaying itself, about how we could have waited longer until they we were completely ready. But of course it was too late, and I sat there, chewing my fingers to nubs." He chuckled to himself. "Liam and Zayn were clinging to each other and I just gripped my uniform in anticipation. But you know what? As soon as the guard peeked into Liam's, cell I looked away. I wouldn't be able to bare it if he noticed something. So I don't really know what happened, It wasn't until I heard them pass my cell that I relaxed. It was over before I knew it." He finished, yawning once more.
It just hit me, "Harry you must be tired, why don't you take a nap?"
He frowned at me, "Why?"
"Because you're obviously tired, you stayed up all night last night, come here," I got off his lap and helped him up. He over exaggerated his exhaustion and threw most of his body weight on me whining that he was fine as I tried dragging him behind my desk. As heavy as he was I was still giggling at him and plopped him down in my office chair, which was much more plush and comfortable than our usual ones.
