A BLACK HORSE DROVE ALONG
a winding road, flanked by tall, dense forests.
The radio played In Dreams, adding an nostalgic atmosphere to the journey of the Addams.
Luggage was strapped to the top of the car, and the license plate 'ADD4M5.'

Inside the car, Wednesday sat with a look of disgust on his face, opposite  his parents, who were lovingly singing along to the song, their eyes filled with adoration for each other.
"Into the magic night, I softly say a silent prayer, like dreamers do," Morticia and Gomez sang to each other.

Morticia, a tall, thin woman with straight ink-black hair, wore a skintight black dress that framed her form.

Gomez, a shorter man with the same black hair and a mustache, was dressed in a black pinstripe suit.

They gazed into each other's eyes, lost in their own world of their love.

Wednesday looked out at the passing trees, closing his eyes and rubbing his temple in exhaustion as his parents continued their duet. "Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you," they sang, undeterred even as the car ran into a flock of birds.

The birds didn't faze the family at all.
"I remember that you said goodbye," Morticia and Gomez leaned in and shared a passionate kiss.

Wednesday rolled his eyes and sighed loudly.
His parents, noticing his reaction, pulled away and turned their attention to him.

"Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the cold shoulder?", his mother asked, her tone gentle.

Wednesday ignored her, turning instead to Lurch, who was driving, and Pugsley, who sat in the passenger seat.

"Lurch, please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them," he commanded.

Lurch grunted in acknowledgment before Gomez smiled at Wednesday,"I promise you, my little viper, you will love Nevermore. Won't he, Tish?" He glanced at his wife for support.

"Of course, he will. It's the perfect school for him.",Morticia replied confidently.

Wednesday looked at his mother with a mixture of defiance and irritation.
"Why? Because it was the perfect school for you? I have no interest in following in either of your footsteps.
Becoming captain of the fencing team, King of the Dark Prom, President of the Séance Society."

Morticia smiled, a hint of pride in her eyes as she remembered her own school days,"I merely meant that finally, you will be among peers who understand you. Maybe you'll even make some friends." Morticia added, "And maybe you'll meet a certain someone you can call yours? Maybe you'll fall in love?"

Wednesday responded with his usual scowl, "I don't tend to fall in love.
Even if I did, I'm sure that someone wouldn't be at this place."

"Nevermore is like no other boarding school. It's a magical place.",Gomez said, his eyes filled with warmth as he looked at Morticia.
"It's where I met your mother," he added, his tone lowering to a whisper as he and Morticia leaned in closer to each other,"And we fell in love."
