The Man's POV

They said, diamonds are rare,
But ladies like you,
Are more rare than it may seem.

You're as soft as a feather,
Yet tougher than steel.
You're the rose in the field of grass.
Lovely, but dangerous one.

I wanna be your knight,
Your fortress and refuge.
The piece that completes your puzzle.
The guardian of your heart and soul.

The Woman's POV

There is more to life,
Other than love.
I'm an eagle,
Reaching for the sky.

I'm not a lover,
I'm an adventurer,
On my journey,
To the top of Everest.

You may see me as the perfect one,
But I see you just as another man.
It's not the end,
We can still be friends.

Maybe you could see me,
In another woman.
Or wait a lifetime,
For a change I may never find.
