"Guys. I have an idea."

Izuku came barreling into Uraraka's room, and everyone stopped what they were doing to look up at the enthusiastic greenhead. Uraraka was the first to speak.

"I'm honestly afraid to ask."

"I'm not," Todoroki said. "What's your idea?"

Izuku's eyes lit up as he bounced around on the balls of his feet, happily waving his hands around. He was practically brimming with excitement.

"Let's summon a demon!"

The room fell into a collective silence, each of Izuku's friends staring at him with wide eyes.

"I can't keep defending you," Todoroki eventually said, returning his attention to his notes.

"C'monn!" Izuku whined. "It'll be fun!"

"Where did you even come up with this ridiculous idea?" Iida questioned, giving Izuku a disapproving look.

"I was up doing some research last night," Izuku started, earning a unanimous groan from his friends. "When I found this one site that tells you how to summon a demon."

"And you think that's a good idea because...?" Uraraka asked, quirking a brow at her green-haired friend.

"Aren't you the least bit curious?!" Izuku asked, plopping down on the ground next to Uraraka. "Just think about it! One moment we're alone, and the next, there's this amazing, otherworldly creature in the room with us! Just imagine the possibilities!"

Izuku continued on his rant, listing all the facts he'd learned about demons the night before. He was blissfully unaware of the horrified and concerned looks shared between his friends.

After some light (a lot of) convincing, Izuku, Todoroki, Uraraka, Iida, and Asui all sat around the summoning circle Izuku had made out of salt. It had a star shape in the centre, each friend taking their place at an end of the star.

"I fear some day you may get us killed, Izuku," Asui commented from Izuku's right, earning an agreeing nod from each of the friends.

"Don't worry. I made sure that the ritual was completely safe and foolproof," Izuku announced, puffing his chest out proudly.

"You went to Reddit, didn't you?" Uraraka asked in a deadpan.

"It's a perfectly reliable source!" Izuku argued, shooting Uraraka a pointed look across the circle.

"Can we please just get this over with?" Iida interjected, fixing his glasses in annoyance. "Some of us actually care about our education."

"You've been building prosthetics since you were eight," Todoroki said from Izuku's left. "I think you'll be okay."

"Anyway!" Asui said loudly, effectively putting the developing arguments to a stop. "How does the ritual work, Izuku?"

"Right. So, we'll be summoning the demon by using the five elements—"

"Aren't there only four?" Todoroki cut him off, earning a glare.

"No, five," Izuku objected. "Earth, water, fire, air, and spirit."

"Did you watch Avatar the last airbender again?" Asui asked, and Todoroki gave her a few happy nods.

"Please elaborate," Uraraka said, bringing the group's focus back to the ritual.
