The steady rumble of the Impala filled the air as Sam and Dean drove down the road toward the bunker. The hunt had been uneventful, nothing too complicated, but enough to leave them both tired. Sam was relaxed in the passenger seat, his eyes half closed, reflecting on what was really waiting for him back home. He couldn't wait to get back to the bunker, more specifically to Gabriel. It was good to know that after days of tension and fighting, he had someone who understood him, who was waiting for him. Sam adjusted his dark green plaid shirt, which had mud stains from the recent confrontation, and ran a hand through his hair, trying to shake off the tiredness.

As he parked the car, Dean seemed to be in a particularly mischievous mood, a slight smile playing at the corners of his mouth. He got out of the Impala and slammed the door shut, looking at Sam with an amused glint in his eyes.

— You know, Sammy...— Dean began, with that typical intonation of someone who is about to provoke — I don't think you realized, but that blonde at the bar was practically devouring you with her eyes.

Sam paused for a moment, frowning as he tried to remember the incident, but shook his head shortly after.

— What blonde? — asked Sam, confused — I barely paid attention. Dean chuckled and started walking towards the bunker entrance, with Sam right behind him.

— Oh, of course not. You were so focused on the case that you didn't even notice that she was ready to pull you into some corner, but, bro, you should have seen the look in her eyes, it looked like she was ready to drag you out.

Sam let out an irritated sigh, rolling his eyes as he followed his brother up the stairs that led into the bunker.

— Seriously, Dean? I was more worried about not dying, I don't have time for that kind of thing.

Inside the bunker, the soft light illuminated the cozy atmosphere where Gabriel and Castiel were sitting at the kitchen table, apparently in a quiet conversation. Gabriel, in his tight red shirt and jeans, had a relaxed posture, but his eyes sparkled with interest when he heard the familiar voices of the Winchester brothers arriving. Castiel, always true to his style, wore his iconic beige overcoat over his suit, and observed everything with his usual serious expression.

— Finally. — Gabriel commented with a wry smile, getting up from his chair as Sam and Dean entered — How was the hunt, guys?

Before Sam could answer, Dean, clearly still enjoying the subject, shot a quick glance at Gabriel, which made Sam immediately tense up.

— Well, the hunt was easy, but the highlight was a blonde at the bar who was about to jump on Sammy. I think he has a fan club there.

Gabriel, who had approached Sam, froze for a moment, the smile on his face wavering slightly as he delivered the information. His golden eyes, previously relaxed, narrowed slightly, focusing on Sem with an intensity that made the hunter swallow hard.

— Oh, really? — Gabriel commented, his tone seemingly casual, but there was something dangerous in the way he looked at Sam.

Sam immediately felt the discomfort growing, but before he could say anything, Dean, of course, decided to throw more fuel on the fire.

— Well, Sam was so focused on work that he didn't even notice the woman almost ripping off his shirt.

The tension in the air increased visibly, Gabriel didn't say anything right away, but his eyes no longer had their usual playful sparkle. He crossed his arms slowly, leaning against the table as he looked at Sam with an ambiguous expression.

— So, she was behind you and you didn't even say anything? — asked Gabriel, his voice filled with a slight accusation, but more than that, jealousy begins to show. It wasn't the fact that Sam had done something; it was the simple fact that someone else had taken an interest in Sam, and Gabriel didn't like the idea of competing, even if it was with someone insignificant.

— Gabriel, I didn't even talk to her. — Sam said quickly, shaking his head and running his hands through his hair in frustration. — I didn't notice any of this because, honestly, I didn't give a damn. We were hunting, totally focused on the case. I just wanted to get home.

Castiel, who until then had been watching the scene silently, looked even more confused, his brow furrowed in an attempt to understand what was happening. He looked from Gabriel to Sam and back to Gabriel, trying to process the human emotions involved.

— I don't understand. Gabriel, why are you jealous? Sam clearly had no interaction with this woman.

— Exactly! — Sam exclaimed, casting a pleading look at Gabriel who continued with his arms crossed and a closed expression — I didn't do anything. I was busy dealing with a homicidal spirit, and the last thing on my mind was some woman, who honestly, I didn't even notice. All I wanted was to get back to you.

For a brief moment, silence filled the room, broken only by the sound of Sam's heavy breathing and the light rustling of a breeze coming from outside. Gabriel looked at Sam, his eyes shining with a mix of feelings – insecurity, jealousy, and above all, the desire to be the only person in the world that mattered to Sam. The archangel always dealt badly with the fact that, despite all his power, there were things he couldn't control, and Sam's feelings for him were one of those things. He wanted to make sure Sam always chose him, even when there was no real competition. Dean, realizing the emotional chaos he had caused, took a step back, crossing his arms as he tried, without much success, to hide a smile of amusement.

— Okay, maybe I exaggerated a little, but it was just a joke, Gabe. Sam didn't even look at her. Relax.

But Gabriel wasn't satisfied with Dean's words. He uncrossed his arms and took a step toward Sam, his gaze serious but at the same time filled with a need that Sam knew well.

— So, you didn't care about her? — Gabriel murmured, stopping right in front of Sam, their bodies almost touching.

Sam let out a long, tired sigh. He was exhausted from the hunt, and honestly, this argument wasn't helping at all. Instead of responding with words, he decided to end this once and for all. With a quick, decisive movement, he grabbed Gabriel by the waist and pulled him close, joining their lips in a firm, burning kiss. Gabriel's initial shock lasted only a second before he gave himself completely to the moment. His hands moved up Sam's chest to his shoulders, pulling him even closer to him.

The kiss was deep, intense, and within seconds, any trace of jealousy Gabriel felt was gone, replaced by the familiar flame of desire. Sam could feel the heat radiating between them, the world around them dissolving as Gabriel's touch filled him with that familiar sense of belonging. However, before the situation could progress any further, a loud, forced coughing sound echoed through the room.

Dean, clearly uncomfortable and visibly regretting having caused all the drama, coughed again as he shook his head.

— I don't want to be annoying, but you two aren't alone.

Castiel, who continued to watch with the same expression of confusion, tilted his head to the side.

— I still don't understand why there was jealousy. Gabriel, you're an archangel, these emotions seem unnecessary.

Gabriel laughed softly, moving away from Sam, but not before running a loving hand over his face.

— Yeah, Cas, maybe you're right, but sometimes we can't control what we feel, even if I'm an archangel.

Sam shook his head, exhaling a low laugh, before pulling Gabriel closer again and murmuring softly into Gabriel's ear.

— Let's get out of here, before Dean has a meltdown.
