I wrecked my brain for days that quickly turned into weeks. Before I could remember who he really was.

And he definitely was a mystery yet to be solved. It's really too bad that I am a lover of mysteries myself, it made me curious and excited at the same time. In fact, too excited that I couldn't even sleep properly.

I researched, stalked, prayed even just to get a little bit of information about him. But, it came to a dead end. All I found were just trivial things like: his birthday, where he was from, where he went to school, the friends he hanged out with, things you could find out just by a few minutes of stalking his Instagram and other social media accounts really.

I had almost given up on this so called 'research' when I lay on my bed.

But then, like something finally clicked inside of me, the answer I've been looking for weeks came to me in the form of a dream.

Alexandria POV (6 years old)

It was a great day outside, the kind where the clouds are visibly white underneath the blue sky. We were playing near the river in front of our house that morning. Our feets splashing against the still warm water.

"Alexandria! Dria!" A voice that I knew and loved so much called me -my rock-, shouting as if I was far from him, even when he's right in front of me. His hypnotizing grey orbs connecting with my blue ones.

Of course, I didn't know what love is back then- being six years old and all- but I all know is how much I love those pair of grey orbs and what I wouldn't do to see them everyday.

"What?" I said smiling looking his way now.

"What do you wanna do when you grow up?" He asked me curiously leaning his head forward a little bit.

"I want to be a doctor just like my mom, I want to take care of sick people and watch them as they heal and be healthy again! What about you? What do you want to be when you grow up?" I asked him in a curious manner.

"I want to be the guy who can make you happy. I want to be the only person who can make you smile when you're about to cry and could be your shoulder to lean on. Oh, and an astronaut! That would be so cool." He said grinning revealing his perfect row of white teeth.

I chuckled at his priorities. Even then, he was a heartbreaker."Then..." I trailed of, "Then I want to be the person who can help you when you need me. I'll never let you down!" I said happily clapping, seemingly satisfied with my answer.

"And then we'll be together forever until we're old and wrinkly like our grandma and grandpa!" He stated excitedly.

"Together forever." We pinky promised.

***

Little did I know "forever" never did go as expected. But then what does?

Cause the month after we made our promises his family was gone without a trace -without any goodbyes whatsoever. He was my first love -gone, poof, sayonara just like that.

Running, I was running towards his car that day he left, but it didn't matter, did it? The car didn't stop even when I fell onto the cold hard ground. Crying a river as my legs bled. But I didn't think about my bleeding legs back then, I just thought about the boy who I once thought to be my best friend leaving me forever.

But that's life. Always full of surprises whether bad or good ones. But life go on not willing to wait for anyone, ignoring the fact that a few people in the world dies every five second, that every second there will be someone who's heart got broken.

And this time round, the surprise came in the form of a good looking raven haired boy.

And I still didn't know that time, those pair of grey orbs could do so much damage to my heart yet so much happiness in my life. Crashing into my life like a tornado, a disaster waiting to happen.

As if it couldn't get any worse, I suddenly remembered.

His name was Trent Jameson.
