- "Make yourself at home," Scott said as he entered with you. "Oh, let me take care of that," he added, taking the shopping bags to store them in the kitchen.

You glanced around the large room.

There was a big dining table in the middle, one side serving as a living room with a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table, and a TV. On the left was the kitchen, with sinks, cabinets, an oven, stovetops, and a microwave. Opposite the entrance, a door on the far wall led to a hallway where the bedrooms were located.

There was already a man on the sofa, whose long brown hair and full beard sometimes gave him the appearance of Jesus.

- "Uh, hello," you began.

- "Hmm? Oh, hello," he replied.

Fortunately, Scott quickly arrived to save the situation.

- "Oh, hey, Clay, this is (y/n). They're a friend who lives next door. (y/n), this is Clay."

- "Nice to meet you, I'm the original Clay, there is another one."

- "Nice to meet you," you replied, not really knowing how to continue the conversation.

At that moment, the other Clay entered the room. He looked like a mix of Clay without a beard and Jack Sparrow, with his thin mustache. Nessa wondered if these three weren't brothers.

- "Hi, what's your name?" he asked.

- "Uh, Nessa. And you?"

- "Clay, but call me Aesh. Did Scott invite you?"

- "Yeah, I showed him around the town this morning."

- "Did he tell you about his siren? He hasn't stopped talking about it all morning. It's a good thing we're here to relax because he really needs it," Aesh added, laughing.

- "I really did see it!" Scott shouted from his room. "Come on, let me introduce you to Tim. He's probably still cooking; he's been really into it for the past few days," he said as he stepped outside to the garden.

Outside, there was a table, and a young woman with short hair wearing an apron was chopping vegetables on a cutting board.

Scott went over to greet her with a quick hug.

- "(y/n), this is Tim," Scott said, turning around.

- "Hi, nice to meet you," said Tim.

- "Ah, YOU'RE Tim? Uh, yeah, hi, nice to meet you too," you replied awkwardly.

Damn, I really thought that was Scott's girlfriend, you thought to yourself.

- "Do you live nearby?" Tim asked.

- "Yeah, I live on the other side of the beach. I met Scott this morning, and since he didn't know the town, I showed him around. And since we got along well and he told me about you guys, he invited me over to thank me."

While talking, you took the time to examine your interlocutor. He was wearing a white sweater with gold laurel patterns that twisted around the sleeves, along with black leggings. He had a very slim build. His face was delicate and graceful, with deep black eyes enhanced by subtle eyeliner. His black hair had a golden streak and was carefully styled to flutter lightly to the side. Most striking was the bouquet of chrysanthemums drawn in ink on his neck, in the shape of a heart, with other flowers flowing from his sleeves to gracefully encircle his hand.

- "Well, welcome then," Tim said, bringing Nessa back to the conversation. "Scott, I'm done. Could you set the table?" continued the young chef.

Scott grabbed the silverware and was about to take them to the table when you took them from him.
