The guys went to grab their things, and the small group walked the 10 meters from the house to the beach.

Scott, Clay, and Aesh stripped down to just their swim trunks. Unintentionally, this gave you a chance to appreciate the sight, as Scott was built like an athlete.

He must have noticed because he turned around, embarrassed.

A short while later, the three of them were in the water. Clay had brought his surfboard, but the ocean was calm today, so he just swam with the others.

You noticed that Tim didn't join them. He had sat down on a large towel, closed his eyes, and with his black hair flowing in the wind, breathed in the surrounding air-a gentle mix of warm sand, salty sea, and the ocean's humidity. At that moment, he had an almost otherworldly appearance, like an elf communicating with the nature around him.

After half a minute of watching this calming scene, you went and sat next to Tim. You could see all the details of the inked flowers that wrapped around his neck. That was surely a beautiful piece of art.

- "Aren't you going in?" you asked.

- "No, not right now. I'd rather enjoy the peace and quiet here," Tim replied. "What about you? Not going in either?"

- "Nah, I already swam this morning."

You mainly wanted to avoid revealing your secret to them.

However, you felt comfortable sitting next to Tim. You trusted him. The awkwardness you'd felt at first had completely disappeared.

Tim then pulled out a guitar from its case, a classical guitar with a black finish that faded to orange in the center, like a dying ember in ash.

Inspired by the scenery, he began to play. The melodies were subtle and light, growing in intensity before falling back into a calm atmosphere.

You closed your eyes to fully enjoy the music.

Suddenly, Tim stood up and invited you to dance on the beach.

The sun was beginning to set.

You danced in Tim's arms, then he let himself be led by you. Every moment brought you both closer and closer.

Suddenly, it felt very warm. Tim leaned in close to your ear and whispered:

- "Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

You opened your eyes and saw Scott leaning over you, with a blanket covering you.

- "You had fallen asleep, and since it's getting dark, I didn't want you to catch a cold," Scott continued.

- "Ah... thanks," you replied, still groggy. "Where are the others?"

- "They got out of the water, and Tim fell asleep too. But he woke up a little while before you and went to play volleyball on the beach with them."

- "Ah, cool. Should we join them?"

The two of you went to join the game by the portable net.

Clay, thanks to his height, was dominating the game, just as you, who despite only playing volleyball occasionally, felt comfortable jumping, spinning, and moving gracefully-a result of your years of dance training.

Teams were formed: you and Scott against Tim and Clay, with Aesh, feeling tired, acting as the referee.

The match was close and ended in a draw by mutual agreement.

Night had fallen long ago when the group had a quick dinner around a fire. Not long after, it was Scott's turn to take out his guitar.

He plays with the same delicate and exotic style as Tim, you thought. And it reminds me of something... but what?

Just so beautiful

I know, I suck at cutting my stories in chapters, and that one was short, but that's just to set up the next one, so stay tuned ! 😉

If something would make me happy more than anything else, it would be a comment, as of writing, there are only two in the whole story. 😢

I promise I will answer to everyone ! 👍

Take care and have a nice day !
