Pooja Rajput POV :

I woke up suddenly from my nap when my phone rang. Without looking at the screen, I answered, "Hello?"

"Did you reach at Aashish's house?" Karan asked.

"Yes, I reached this afternoon," I replied, rubbing my eyes a bit.

"Okay, here, talk to Mom. She is dying to talk to you," Karan said, handing over the phone.

"Hello, Mom," I said, trying to shake off the grogginess.

"Yes, did you reach safely?" she asked, her voice filled with concern.

"Yes, Mom, don't worry. I'm fine," I reassured her, though I could feel a twinge of worry creeping in.

"Your dad doesn't know that you are living at Karan's friend's house. He thinks you are staying at the hostel, which is completely not true. So please don't go out at night, and if you want, ask Aashish to bring you anything. He will," Mom said, her protective instincts kicking in.

"Okay, Mom. I hope Dad doesn't find out about this. If he does, then I am gone," I said, feeling a knot tighten in my stomach.

"Nothing will happen, just believe in yourself," she said, trying to comfort me.

As the call ended, I smiled, but inside I felt a wave of emotion. I really miss my family and friends.

Then I stepped out of the room, glancing around the living room to find it empty. "Where is Aashish ?" she wondered, checking the time on her phone. It was already 7:30 PM.

Feeling a bit hungry, she headed to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of water. "Ah, refreshing!" she said to herself, setting the glass down on the counter. As she thought of making dinner , her mind went to chapathi and lady's finger. "Perfect! It's almost dinner time," she murmured, grabbing the vegetables.

After chopping the lady's finger, she quickly made the dough for the chapathi. "I need to hurry up," she thought, glancing at the clock again. Time was slipping away, and it was now 8:15 PM.

She rolled out the chapathi, working as fast as she could. "Come on, Pooja, you can do this!" she encouraged herself, focusing on the task. Once the lady's finger was cooked and the kitchen was cleaned, she sighed in relief. "Finally, all done!" she said with a smile, feeling accomplished. she thought to herself, "Where could Aashish be at this time?" And I waited for aashish in living room. I don't know where he have gone. I am just scrolling through my phone. After few minutes also passed but still Aashish didn't showed up and I saw the time in my phone it showes 9:00 pm .

Aashish POV :

I woke up and took my phone; it showed 9:00 PM. "Oh no!" I thought, hurrying to get out of bed. I realized I hadn't changed out of my clothes after lunch and had fallen asleep. I quickly put on my night dress and stepped out of my room, hoping to find Pooja in the living room. "I hope she didn't wait too long," I murmured to myself as I made my way out.

Then I saw Pooja sitting on the sofa, scrolling through her phone, and I asked, "What would you like to order for dinner?" As I was about to order, Pooja looked up from her phone, frowned, and said, "Where were you? I've been waiting for you for the past hour!" Oh no, I thought. I replied, "I was sleeping in my room."

Pooja headed to the kitchen and said, "Okay, and you don't need to order because I made dinner for both of us." I was shocked and couldn't believe it-she waited for me and even made dinner! I asked, "Why did you make it? You could have called me; I would have ordered ." She served the food on my plate and replied, "I didn't know you were sleeping, and why order from outside? It's a waste of money and time. Plus, you can't get the taste of homemade food from outside."
