Seungmin's new dress lay carefully spread out on his bed, the delicate tulle and lace catching the light like something out of a fairytale. Seungmin stood in front of his mirror, meticulously applying his makeup - just a touch of shimmer on his eyelids, a hint of pink on his cheeks, and gloss on his lips.
He'd spent the past hour getting ready, wanting everything to be perfect for tonight. His pink-tinged hair was styled in soft waves, a few strands framing his face just so. Small silver star clips glinted among the rosy strands, matching the delicate necklace that rested against his collarbone.
As he slipped into the dress, the powder blue lace bodice hugged his figure perfectly, while the pastel rainbow skirt floated around his knees in layers of ethereal tulle. Each movement sent shimmering stars scattered across the hem dancing in the light. He smoothed his hands down the front, butterflies dancing in his stomach.
"You can do this," he whispered to his reflection. "It's just dinner. Everything will be fine."
A knock at his bedroom door made him jump slightly. Three sharp raps - Jeongin's signature knock.
"Come in!" Seungmin called, turning away from the mirror to face the door.
The door opened slowly, and Seungmin felt his breath catch in his throat. Jeongin stood in the doorway, and he looked... sinful. His newly bleached hair was styled away from his face, the blonde color making him look almost ethereal. He'd dressed up for the occasion - black slacks that fit him like they were tailored (knowing Jeongin, they probably were), a crisp white button-down with the sleeves rolled to show his tattoos, and a black tie hanging loosely around his neck.
"Holy fuck," Jeongin breathed, his eyes traveling slowly up and down Seungmin's form. He stepped into the room, closing the door behind him without taking his eyes off Seungmin. "Princess, you look..."
Seungmin felt heat rise to his cheeks under Jeongin's intense gaze. He did a small twirl, the skirt floating around him. "You like it? I got it the other day when I was out with Felix and Hyunjin."
"Like it?" Jeongin crossed the room slowly, each step deliberate. "Baby, you look fucking incredible." He reached out, fingers ghosting over the lace at Seungmin's waist. "This color... the way it fits you... fuck."
Seungmin smiled shyly, reaching up to adjust Jeongin's tie. "You clean up pretty nice yourself. The blonde... it suits you." His fingers trailed up to play with a strand of Jeongin's hair. "Makes you look almost angelic."
Jeongin smirked, leaning into Seungmin's touch. "Angelic? Don't let that get around, princess. I've got a reputation to maintain."
"Oh please," Seungmin giggled, smoothing Jeongin's collar. "Your reputation isn't going anywhere. Even dressed up like this, you still look like you could ruin someone's life with a single glare."
"Only the lives of people who deserve it," Jeongin murmured, pulling Seungmin closer by his waist. "Speaking of which... you sure you want me at this dinner? I'll behave, but if Barbie or Tinkerbell start running their mouths..."
