"why do you even care?"
jisung asked.

"because I fucking like you jisung!"
minho yelled in frustration.

jisungs eyes widened.
he felt like his heart stopped beating.
"w-what?"

minho tilted his head back, grabbing his hair.
he totally fucked up now.

he sighed, before looking at jisung.
"I like you. for a while now."

jisung just stared at minho, in shock.
did he actually hear right?

"you...I felt so empty, for a long time. I was never really excited to go home. of course, I was so excited to see the cats, but I was...lonely. I had no one I could put my love in...and someone who could put their love in me. when you moved in, I found myself feeling...like I wasn't alone on this earth. your smile would make my day brighter, your sweet actions and words made my heart warm, and I couldn't stop thinking about you. I...I felt like I found someone I could share my days with. my...soulmate."
Minho sighed, looking at jisung with glossy eyes.
"you are so sweet and caring. you never made me feel bad whenever I couldn't pick you up because of work, and you...just you...."
he kneeled again, cupping jisungs cheeks.
"god, you're so perfect."

minho gently kissed jisungs forehead.
"I don't deserve you."

jisung kept staring at minho, his eyes wide.
"m-minho...I need to tell you something."

minho nodded.
"of course."

"when...I found out hyunjin was cheating on me...it was the biggest pain I ever felt. not even the bruises on my wrist hurt that much. I felt so angry...and betrayed. I wanted a revenge. I wanted hyunjin to feel the pain I went through, even if it was just slight of it."
jisung looked down, unable to look at minho anymore.
"jeongin...he came up with a plan. when I told him about how I wanted to take revenge on hyunjin, he told me that...I should try to seduce you."
he closed his eyes, feeling ashamed of himself.
"all of the things you might feel for me...it's all just confusion minho. you don't actually have any feelings for me."

minhos eyes widened.
he didn't expect that.
"jisung...I need to know this. do you...feel something towards me back?"

"why does it matter?"
jisung asked, finally looking up.

"because jisung, I don't fucking care if I get used over and over! you have no idea how I feel about you. if it meant that I could hold you, love you, caress you, and...be able to call you mine, I couldn't care less if I'm being used. if it's you, I would let you use me over and over just so that you could be happy. because that's all I want jisung, I want you to be happy. seeing you smile, REALLY smile....that's the most amazing feeling I ever felt. so I need to know jisung...do you like me back?"

jisung stared into minhos eyes.
he didn't see more honest eyes, ever in his life.

"even if I did like you back....I...I'm the one who doesn't deserve you."
jisung whispered, tears falling down his eyes.
"how can you even say something like that? you should be hating me right now."

minho shook his head.
"nothing could make me hate you."
he said, wiping the tears that spilled from jisungs eyes.
"how about...we took things slowly? figure out our true feelings and navigate this path together?"

"with...no lies?"
jisung whispered, looking at minho

"with no lies."
minho whispered back, caressing jisungs cheek, before gently pulling jisung in, finally capturing his lips and making them his.

seungmin stumbled around the apartment, taking a huge sip out of an almost empty bottle of whisky, that was full just an hour ago.

"mean ol' moon, it must be fun, to shine upon me as I come undone."
seungmin sang, his fingers tracking his lines.
"'till I'm all alone beneath the sun, you mean ol' moon."

an hour ago, he had a huge fight with hyunjin.
that was nothing new tho.

hyunjin forgot seungmins birthday, and when seungmin confronted hyunjin, he left.
as always.
he left.

seungmin drank another sip, before he fell on the floor, staring at the ceiling.
was this what he deserved?
shit, karma must be real.
he started dating someone who was already in a relationship with a very sweet person.
and now...he was paying the price.
laying on the floor of the apartment he shared with a lover that was supposed to be his, drunk and miserable on his birthday.

"you mean ol' moon"
seungmin whispered, before blacking out.

"have you told jisung about us?"
chan asked, drinking from the bottle of wine.

felix chuckled, straddling chans lap.
"not yet. he's dealing with a lot of things right now, you know that."

chan gave him a small smile.

"but..."
felix started, connecting their foreheads.
"I did mention to him that I like someone from work."

chan chuckled.
"well, I'm excited to see his reaction."

"me too! you guys are literally friends since diapers."

"yeah, but we didn't really hang out since he started dating hyunjin. I mean, we still text sometimes, but the last time I saw him was like...a year ago, when I met him in a grocery store."

"well, how about we told him right after your birthday? or on your birthday, since I'm pretty sure you want to invite all your friends for dinner."
felix smiled, tracing chans biceps with his finger.

"you're a smart head, you know that?"
chan smiled.

"I could give you a head right now."
felix smirked.

chan just started chuckling, before gently pushing Felix's off of him.
"you're going to give me a heart attack someday. how about we ordered dinner tonight?"
