"you're telling me that you're doing this every single day?"
Minho asked.he was currently carrying a box full of books in the storage.
jisung chuckled.
"not every day dummy. just sometimes. it depends. sometimes they deliver new books, and sometimes it's just old books that I need more of. they don't deliver every day of course, I need to order the books I need."
he said, taking a smaller box and putting it on the shelf in the storage."how did you even end up owning a bookstore?"
Minho asked, looking at jisung."trust me, that's a really boring story."
jisung said."but I wanna hear it."
Minho said, taking a box and putting it on the higher shelf.jisung smiled a little.
"well, if you really want to know."
he chuckled.
"my family was always on the poorer side. we didn't have any expensive vacations, and we lived in a small house."
jisung started.Minho stopped what he was doing and put all his attention on jisung, listening every single word that left his mouth.
"they had to work a lot, and didn't really have that much time to take care of me. they were good parents tho, and I still talk with them sometimes, but as a child, I didn't see them that much. I was still young, and they couldn't just leave me home alone without someone keeping an eye on me after school, so my aunt offered to watch me in her bookstore. it was only a minute away from my school, so everyday, I would get off school, walk to my aunt's bookstore and stay there until my parents picked me up. I always felt like home when I helped my aunt there. I spend a lot of time reading books, or just chilling in the back and do my homework, but I always felt good when I was at the bookstore. relaxed maybe, like I could breathe properly. even tho I didn't have to go there after I was old enough, I still did, because I loved it so much. when I finished high school, my aunt retired and gave me her bookstore. you have no idea how happy and grateful I felt. I worked my ass off to earn money to renovate it. at that time, I also studied collage online, so it was really hard, but it was all worth it. I officially opened my new renovated bookstore few months after I finished collage. my aunt couldn't believe how pretty I made it look, and she was so excited to see that her bookstore will live on."
jisung said, a small smile on his face.
"she still sometimes comes to visit and see how I'm doing, but I'm pretty sure she's just going here to make sure her bookstore is still standing."
he chuckled, turning around and facing Minho.
"well, that's the story."Minho had a smile on his face. he could see how much this bookstore meant to jisung, and that he absolutely loves what he's doing here.
he sort of admired that.
"that's actually so adorable."
he said.jisung playfully rolled his eyes, the smile still shining brightly on his face.
"cmon, let's get it finished so we can go buy the beers."•~•
after going to a grocery store close to the bookstore, the two boys made their way to the camp.
as they were getting closer and closer to the location, jisung could feel how anxious he was getting.
gosh, he really hated meeting new people.
was this really worth knowing if Minho likes boys?"okay, we're here."
Minho said, parking the car."how we will go back if we will be drinking tho?"
jisung asked."one of my friends is sober. he had an addiction, and he stopped drinking three years ago. he will drive everyone home today, and tomorrow morning he will pick us up to go get our cars."
Minho said, getting out of the car.jisung mirrored Minhos actions and also got out of the car, walking towards the trunk. Minho opened it and took out the beers.
"Minho!"
someone yelled.
