just as jeongin opened the door of the bookstore, jisung dragged him into the storage room.

"yo, hyung, what are you doing? what's happening?"
jeongin asked, clearly confused.

"I have a huge thing to tell you."
jisung said.

"I'm listening."
jeongin leaned against the wall.

"so...minho is actually into guys."
jisung said.

"holy shit. how the heck did you manage to find that out? did you just ask him, or...?"
jeongin asked.

"well, yesterday, I hanged out with minho and his friends, and one of them mentioned Minhos ex BOYFRIEND, so he must like guys, right?"

"oh yeah, definitely."
jeongin nodded.
"isn't that good? you can actually try to win him over now."

"yeah, it's good to know, but how do I even start? do I just come to him and throw random pick up lines at him, walk around the apartment naked or...?"

"hyung, no."
jeongin said, actually a little horrified.
"that's not how you flirt."

"then tell me what do now."
jisung whined.

"well, you live with him right? how about you cooked something to him? an amazing romantic dinner."
jeongin said.

"I cooked him eggs for breakfast few days back. that's the only thing I can cook without setting the apartment on fire."
jisung said.
"and minho said that they were burnt."

"damn."
jeongin said.

"yeah. different ideas?"
jisung asked.

"well, I still highly believe that making someone a meal is the perfect start. are you sure that you can't cook something with a recipe?"

"I mean...I never really tried? I was too lazy, and I believed that if things got bad, I could just survive out of scrambled eggs and cheap ramen noddles."

"wow, okay."
jeongin chuckled.
"I have an easy recipe that I'm making every single time I want to make something quick but good. how about you tried it?"

"I mean...I could? minho is working overtime today, it should be only an hour tho."

"amazing! that's a perfect opportunity!"
jeongin said, excited.

"im not sure jeongin...I mean...if I fuck it up, then I will waste food, and minho on top of working late will have to help me clean the kitchen...I don't want that."

"but hyung, this is your best chance! he picks you up every single day. today, he will come late from work, tired, overworked, and you will serve him an amazing and delicious dinner. boom! and he's yours."
jeongin said.

"but-"

"and besides, I would speed up this plan of yours."

"why?"
jisung asked.

"well, because if it will take you too long, there is a chance that hyunjin will get over you and won't care anymore, and you're doing all of this for nothing."
jeongin said.

jisung sighed.
"you're right. so, will you give me the recipe?"

seungmin was currently in the kitchen, making a dinner for him and hyunjin.

he sighed.
honestly, he didn't like this situation.

hyunjin told him that they had to wait a few months before they will actually start acting like boyfriends, so no one would suspect anything.
it was a good plan.
but seungmin was just...feeling unappreciated.

all this time, he was the other one, but now, when jisung is finally out of the picture, there is no change.
he still feels like he's the other man, even tho he isn't anymore.
and it wasn't a nice feeling.

hyunjin walked up to him, hugging him from behind.
"it smells amazing darling."

seungmin nodded.
"I'm making your favorite."

hyunjin smiled.
"hmm, what a good boyfriend you are."
he said, kissing seungmins ear.

seungmin smiled a little, turning around and giving hyunjin a quick peck on his lips.
"can you prepare the table?"

"oh, mhm, just give me a sec. I need to go into the bathroom."
hyunjin said, leaving and locking the door behind him.

he took out his phone, and smiled when he noticed that jisung didn't block his new Instagram account.

'jisung, im cooking myself my favorite meal right now, and it just makes me think of you so much. all the times we shared this meal. please, just reconsider your decision. I miss you, and I love you'

he send the message, before walking back into the living room, seeing that seungmin already prepared the table.

"oh, min, I would do it right after I got back."
hyunjin said, sitting down on a chair facing seungmin.

"you were taking quite some time there."
seungmin said, a little annoyed.
"I was hungry, and I thought I would save the time."

"don't do it next time, okay? I will do it."
hyunjin said.

seungmin let go of the fork angrily, making hyunjin look at him.
"do you know how many times you told me this already? every single time I ask you for help, you always have something to do. always. I don't know if you did this to jisung too, but I'm not your little bitch hyunjin. I won't listen to your orders, and I won't be treating you like you're some king and I'm a maid. I fucking cooked your dinner, you can be so nice and just make the table."

"seungmin I just needed to go into the bathroom, I don't see what the big deal is."
hyunjin rolled his eyes, taking a bite from the food.

"the point is you do this every single time I ask you for help! you were literally sitting on the couch for half an hour when I was cooking. you could have gone then. preparing the table wouldn't take you too long, and even if you needed to go into the bathroom, I don't think two minutes will kill you when you were sitting on the couch for half an hour."

"wow, so now I can't even go piss in my own house?"
hyunjin said angrily, getting up.
"I need to get some fresh air. don't wait for me."
he said, and left the apartment.

seungmin just started crying, holding his knees.
"this isn't fair."
he whispered, getting up and taking hyunjins plate, throwing it into the trash bin.
