jisung wanted to forget how fucked up his life became in these past few days, so he decided to try and act normal and go to his bookstore.

besides, his bookstore was his favorite place.
and he missed it.
he was also more then sure that the scent of the books will light up his mood.

felix was against the idea for a lot of reasons.

one, jisung was not in the right state of mind

two, the bookstore was closed for a few days, so there would be a lot of things to do.

and three...hyunjin could come into the bookstore

none of these reasons convinced jisung tho.
he was stubborn.

and besides he didn't need to worry.
he won't be there alone.
jeongin will be there in the afternoon, and he was sure there would be at least one customer there, so if something happened, he counted on them that they would intervene, or call the police.

at the end, Felix didn't really have any choice and let jisung to whatever he wanted, if he's safe.
he can't just lock him in his house.
even tho he really wanted.

so now, jisung was in the bus, looking out of the window while listening to his favorite music, feeling relaxed.

when the bus passed his stop, he got out and soon enough, he was in front of his bookstore.
he unlocked it and walked in, inhaling the scent of books.
oh, how much he missed this place.

"well, let's get to work."

Felix wasn't stupid tho.
he wasn't going to risk his best friend getting hurt.

he called minho.
yes, he took his number just in case he needed him.
minho insisted.

"hello?"

"hi minho, it's me, Felix."

"I know. what do you need?"

"hyunjin works in the same company as you, right?"

"mhm. the same office even."

"can you make sure he like...stays there the whole day? and if he suspiciously left early text me."

"uhm, yeah, of course. is something wrong?"

"jisung is at his bookstore, and I don't want hyunjin to show up there and do something to him when I'm not there to protect him. I don't want something to happen to him. jisung can't protect himself. he's too stupid for that, that's why he has me."

"of course, I'm gonna keep an eye on him, I also don't want something to happen to jisung."

"thank you."

"mhm."
minho said and Felix hanged up.

the first customers walked inside the store.

"good morning."
jisung said with a smile on his face, as he stared scanning the book.

"good morning! I'm so glad the bookstore is opened today, I came here yesterday and it was closed."
the customer happily said.

"yeah...I had some problems I needed to take care of, but don't worry, the store will be opened normally from now on."
jisung said, the smile falling a little, but the customer didn't notice.
he put the books in a bag, pushing it towards the customer.

"oh, okay, I hope everything got sorted out."
the customer said, taking the bag.

"yeah, I hope it is. that will be 35 000 won."
