minho walked to the apartment door, exhausted.
he hated overworking more then anything.
but soon, he might get promoted, so it was all worth it if he actually got the position.and besides, he wasn't overworking everyday.
just sometimes.opening the door, he could smell a
sorta...weird smell?
like something was burning?he took off his shoes and made his way into the kitchen, surprised to see panicking jisung in an apron there.
"jisung?"
minho walked towards him."oh, hey, you're home already?"
jisung chuckled awkwardly."what are you doing?"
minho asked."uhm...din..ner?"
jisung said, not quite sure himself anymore.minho took the wooden spoon from jisung and started poking the food.
"and what are you making exactly?"jisung gave minho a small awkward smile.
"a beef tacos?""a beef tacos?"
Minho repeated."I mean...it was SUPPOSED to be beef tacos. this is the meat."
jisung pointed at the slightly burned and very dry looking minced meat in the pan.minho looked around, also seeing already chopped vegetables in a bowl, and store bought taco shells.
he took some of the meat on the wooden spoon and hesitatingly tasted it.jisung just looked at him in horror.
"what the fuck did you just do? I was about to throw it away! I'm so lucky I bought the meat myself, because if I didn't, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life that I wasted your food like that."
he said, before trying to take the pan, but minho stopped him."we can still fix it."
"what do you mean fix it? this is beyond fixing point."
minho shook his head.
"the meat is a little burnt, but I don't think you will be able to taste it together with the taco shell, veggies and sauce that much. it's also a bit dry and lacks flavor. we can fix that with soy sauce and some spices, and im thinking about the random asian sauce we bought last week, that can fix the dryness.""what the actual fuck are you talking about?"
jisung asked, completely confused.minho chuckled.
"I really have to teach you how to cook at least something. I don't want you starving when I won't be at home.""hey, for my defense, I can make some bombastic scrambled eggs."
jisung said proudly."yeah, a little burnt bombastic scrambled eggs."
minho said.
"do you like burning things often?"jisung smacked Minhos arm.
"I was never the most amazing chef, okay mister perfect?"minho just playfully rolled his eyes.
"cooking isn't that hard jisung, I will just teach you how to do it.""I don't think that will help me, my aunt already tried many many times. I can't count how many of these times almost ended up with the kitchen on fire."
jisung said, not so proudly anymore.minho chuckled.
"I'm going to teach you how to make the easiest pasta later this week, okay?""okay, but I'm not promising I won't burn your kitchen down."
jisung said."bet."
minho smiled.
"now, give me the soy sauce."•~•
minho started to fix everything, while jisung watched everything very carefully right over his shoulder, with his curious doe eyes and pouty lips.
if minho said he didn't find it cute, he would be lying.
