18. Baby Dragon

"Lady Jayne wants a dragon, we only have baby dragons. I will give her mine." Luke decided. "And I will take Joff and the kids and Sera to the-"

"Luke-"

"Let me finish." Luke begged. 

"I will let you go." Rhaenyra agreed. "Because she is good for you and I want you safe." 

"Thank you mother." Luke went to tell Sera but ended up kissing her instead. 

"I love you, you know. You are the only man I ever have." Sera admitted. "I..." she whispered kissing him. "I like you kissing me. Touching me." he pulled at her dress. 

"Can I touch more of you?" He asked. 

"Yes." she confirmed. 

The gentle way his hands grazed over her stomach and along her thigh made her feel beautiful. How he looked at her as he stripped her carefully. Like she was the most exquisite woman in the world.

Renly whined out and seras lips pulled away. She had not known luke long at least not this man that he had become, she knew the boy he was before but the man he was now was sweet and charming and attentive. But something about meeting a person when your life shift's completely made them have a sort of bond that time wouldnt break.

Luke stared wide eyed back at her. She turned and he watched the curve of her back her spine as she scooped up renly whispering in his little ear

"Oh Romeo. Oh Romeo. Whats wrong my little romeo?"

"Does he miss his father?" Luke questioned. It made sera laugh.

"As if." She countered moving back to bed. "he's a mama's boy." 

"Sera, we are leaving, you and me and... the kids. My siblings." Luke told her. 

"Your mother said you could come?" Sera asked excited. 

"Of course." Luke agreed. "I put up quite the fight." 

"Good." Sera agreed. "Because I didnt want to leave you." 

"I cannot spare a fighting dragon, but I send what I can. Stormcloud and Tyraxes are small, but they will grow. It is for you to remind Lady Jeyne of her pledge and persuade her of the urgency of our need."

"Luke's dragon-"

"I cannot spare him." she corrected. Luke nodded. 

"As long as I'm still going." Luke corrected before hugging Jace. "Bye brother." 

"You will be a man next time I see you." 

"Go safely, sister."

"I will be safe enough. Far away from any danger, with only babes to nursemaid." Rhaena murmured.

"You do a great service, and may yet find yourself glad to be out of harm's way. Seraphina seems to be glad she is out of harms way."

"Do not coddle me, Baela." Rhaena hissed. " Grant me at least that dignity. Searphina has children, this is a job for a mother not a warrior."

"Oh is that what you are?" baela tormented. Rhaena growled back at her. "I'm sorry, Rhae, I meant no insult." Baela countered. "We each do what we can. And here, I think, is some consolation."

" Tyraxes and Stormcloud are young and vulnerable." Rhaenyra remarked. "These eggs are even more fragile. But should all come to ruin here... you will bear our hope for the future." four dragon eggs were incubated.

"Your Grace." Rhaena agreed tears in her eyes.

" Mommy." Joffrey whispered clinging to Rhaenyra. She moved from Viserys and Aegon kissing them gently. Rhaenyra looked to Seraphina. 

"Take care of them." She begged. 

"As if they were my own." Sera agreed.  Jace held tight to his little brother, rhaenyra couldn't look at them any longer. 

"Come on sweeties, its time to go on an adventure." Sera said, holding onto Robert's hand, Luke held REnly and Viserys.
