"One good reason not to love you... One good reason wouldn't be even enough to Unpaint all of those pictures. There's no way to unremember Seraphina. And I wouldn't want to forget. Everything that has brought us here. To bravvos. It was a journey that I would take all over again with you."

" except maybe the war." Sera mused

" yeah maybe we could skip that but keep the rest." Luke agreed. He lifted his glass to her.

Six perfect months of peace. Once they got across the narrow sea, Luke had proposed. Now they were celebrating their half year anniversary. It was just them and the kids. Joffrey help them say the words of I am his and he is mine. Of course they couldn't have an official wedding wedding because she was still technically married to the idiot at Kings Landing.  But it was theirs and it was perfect.

" half year with you and I can't wait for what the rest of our lives have in store." Sera said clinking her glass against his.

Her first wedding was loud and over-the-top. She was a child and she was confused. She didn't love the man she was marrying, and she was frustrated that she had to do this for her country for the realms. Her father had declared loudly. She remembered getting to the capital and hoping that the little boy that smiled at her instantly was her betrothed  because he didn't seem so terrifying

The man she was matched with had strut in with an air of confidence and arrogance

Now she got to do over. They could've been anyone if they chose. With their black hair, they didn't have to be seen as Targaryen or velaryon. Viserys and aegon well it wasn't uncommon for people in volantis to have silver hair, probably a plethora of bastards. So they blended in quite easily.

She remembered her father telling her that she was born to stand out and that's why she would be queen  . But she didn't think she was born to stand out because she liked blending in. She liked being a mother and having to worry about the rest of the world just her family.

They had walked back to their little home, hand-in-hand leftovers bundled up for the kids in the morning  joffrey attempted to be babysitter when they went on date nights, but he was just as much a kid as the kids he was watching.

" what did you bring me?" Joffrey asked immediately upon the door opening.

" all yours, honey." Sera said, handing off the bundle. " are the kids in bed?"

" they were waiting for you." he corrected eating the leftovers instantly so much for saving it for the morning.

" you know the word is that your mother claimed the iron throne..." sera remarked tucking the kids in. " I don't know how safe it is considering you know who isn't actually dead. But if you wanted to...."

" I don't wanna leave." Luke corrected. " unless you do. I just mean that I like it here. It's simple. I don't have any expectations if I don't have to be lord of anything or prince of anything... it's nice don't you think?"

" I agree..." sera confirmed kissing him. " I like it being just you and me. And all of the children. But maybe we should write your mother see if she wants her son back.."

" it's funny. I forget that they're my brothers and not my children at times." Luke Admitted.

" you have certainly been a good father to them. And a wonderful husband to me."

" you're the best wife in the world, but I don't think it's smart to let them know where we are he who shall not be named could come after you."

" I'm the least of his worries if your mother has the throne."

" I don't want to risk exposing us and losing you."

"Then we wait. We have all the time in the world."
