The sun sets, a warm breeze flows through the open window making the leaves outside whisper and sway. Its quiet, almost peaceful as if the world itself is in on the secret, sharing my sense of purpose. I sit at my desk, the only light coming from my lamp and laptop, casting shadows that flicker against the walls. I'm doing the god's work; removing those who've wasted their place in the world, those who bring nothing but harm. It's not just work; it's the task I've taken on, my way of creating a world that feels lighter, better, cleaner. Each name written is a small change.

It's already the seventh page since I started this morning. I'm very focused on my work, blocking out everything else. But I know that writing alone isn't enough. I have to plan my next moves carefully.

I glance at the clock in my room, 40 seconds left. Soon the names Ive written will be eliminated. Leaning back in my chair, I fold my arms behind my head and close my eyes. Death note, a tool of judgment in my hands. But if there are boundaries, are they defined by the notebook itself or by my will? I have to test it.

With each tick of the clock, I am reminded of my decisions. I wont turn away from my role as the God. The broken system has let them go free, but I will not.

I lean a bit closer to my laptop screen, searching for test subjects to use in my experiment, to test the limits of the death note. It sounds cruel, but they are criminals so who cares? Everyone wants them gone from this world anyway.

I scroll through the names and faces. These people have evaded justice for far too long, and now its my turn to act. I sigh as I finish writing there goes another page. If I have to count the names, it would be 500 or more.

I know this is wrong, but this is an ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. To create a world free from crime.

If someone does bad things for a good reason, does that make them a hero or a villain?

If I must bear the burden of their deaths, then so be it.

Peace is something everyone desires. But not everything will come your way, especially in a place called the Armed Detective Agency. The office is a big mess with papers flying around like paper airplanes in the wind.

The only thing that stands out in the mess is a brunette boy standing on a desk. His eyes are blurry and unfocused, a goofy grin on his face from some strange mushroom. He sways a little, lost in his own world.

"I knew The Complete Guide to Suicide was a masterpiece! Who knew I just needed to eat mushrooms growing in the nearby hills to find such an entertaining way out?!" Dazai exclaims, a wide grin on his face.

Kunikida stands with his arms crossed looking at Dazai with a serious expression. "Are you serious?"

"I think this might explain it, Kunikida-san..." Atsushi says, holding up Dazai's book and a bitten mushroom.

"So he ate the poisonous mushroom huh?" Kunikida replies raising an eyebrow.

The blonde man sits at his desk, typing on his laptop and continuing his work, leaving Atsushi with the high Dazai. Suddenly, Dazai pounces on the poor white haired boy holding him hostage. "Ah, I have finally caught you, rainbow pillbug!"

In the blink of an eye, Atsushi is wrapped in bandages, a bewildered look on his face.

A young boy with short blonde hair and gold eyes walks into the office, his cheerful smile on his face. He holds a stack of files and documents in his arms, carefully placing them on a nearby desk before looking at the mess around him. Papers are strewn everywhere, chairs are out of place, random items seem scattered like someone had turned the office upside down. He rolls up his sleeves a lil bit and begins to tidy up, picking up loose papers and stacking them.

As Kenji straightens a nearby chair, he hears a faint muffled sound. Turning his head, he spot Atsushi on the other side of the room, arms flailing as he tries to call for help through the bandages around his mouth. Dazai's 'artistic handiwork' has left the poor boy barely able to make a sound, his desperate attempts to yell reduced to muffled whimpers.

The blonde boy raises an eyebrow, chuckling softly at the sight. "Uh.. Atsushi san? Need a little help there?" he asks as he walks over.

Atsushi nods repeatedly. Kenji reaches out to start unwinding the bandages, casting a quick glance at Dazai who is getting beat up by Kunikida.
