"Congrats on Blackwhip!" All Might turned to Midoriya.
"Thank you very much!" The boy bowed kindly, dipping his head low to the ground.
You glance at the blonde boy on your left, he is looking off to the side balancing his head on his hand.
"And excellent work for you, both, Bakugo and L/n. There seems to be no limit to your potential." The yellow-haired teacher complimented.
"Obviously." Bakugo grumbled with an eye roll.
"Thank you." You bow.
All Might pulls a blue and white notebook from below the table. He held it up before apologizing. "I'm sorry." He flattened the book on the table.
"I couldn't figure everything out. But you have to keep moving forward. The next step is yours."
You lean forward to get a good look at the book. "Previous successor quirks notes for young Midoriya" was written with black ink on the front cover.
"Read closely. I collected as many details about One For All's successors as possible. Unfortunately, I couldn't find so much as a whisper about the second or third users. Given the times that they lived through and the nature of the ability the official records aren't going to be helpful to us." The retired hero lays his head down slightly.
"I'm also not sure what they knew about the power. If they realized how it worked, I assumed they'd want to help out future wielders?" All Might pondered.
"Who cares about a bunch of dead old heroes? I'm tired of wasting mine and Y/n's time waiting for you guys to figure stuff out." Bakugo announced.
Midoriya looked ahead ignoring the boy. "When it comes to Blackwhip, I can only maintain the power for about one second so far. I haven't mastered any capture moves like Sero or Mr. Aizawa. But as a support ability, I think it's already a useful addition to my move set."
"You haven't had any contact with the past users since last time?" All Might asked.
Your hand reaches forward as the two continue to talk, you grasp the small notebook leaning towards Bakugo.
He watched you closely, also intrigued by the book of secrets.
"No." Midoriya answered moments after All Might's question.
You and Bakugo flipped through the pages slowly both reading the messy writing scribbled across the lines.
You began to read gaining attention from everyone. "The fight user was called Ladiat. Guess that makes sense. Real name, Daigoro Bonjo, quirk, Blackwhip. Thanks to the threads of energy he shot from his body he excelled at capture and midair maneuvers."
