You walked about the busy city looking at the lights and signs that glittered the walls.

"We've got idiots fighting non-stop on the streets these days." Fat Gum told you and Kirishima.

He picked a small piece of food and ate it loudly. "Can't eat enough to keep up."'

"Anyway, the agencies around here have been wanting some more heroes around this area."

Fat Gum turned to you and Kirishima. "You two sounded perfect for the job. Amajiki recommended both of you."

Kirishima slams his fists together. "I promise I'll do my best."

"Me too, I appreciate you taking both of us. Since neither of our previous interns could accept for work studies." You thanked.

"Man, your persistence was terrifying even when I had already suggested you." A small voice said from behind. Amajiki was referring to Kirishima's actions the previous week.

"We're gonna work on those delicate nerves of yours, Tamaki, and then you'll be worth your weight in gold." Fat Gum smiled.

Amajiki groaned. "Your expectation only drags me deeper into despair. It's always like this! I swear, the man scouted me just so he'd have someone to torment." He covered his face with both his hands.

"I wanna go home!"

"Just imagine Tamaki, you'd be very popular with the ladies. Don't you agree L/n?" Fat Gum asked.

"Mhm," You mumble to him honestly.

"See Tamaki!"

"Oh, uh, um, thank you." He blushed closing his hands over his pink cheeks.

"Tamaki! Remember what I tell you, confidence is key." Fat Gum ordered.

"I want to go home." He mumbles into his hands.

Kirishima smiled. "Maybe he's trying to encourage you. That's what mentors are supposed to do, right?"

"Fat, come eat at our place!" A store worker yelled out.

"Tomorrow!"

"I'm not like you or Mirio. Positivity's not my strong suit." Amajiki frowned.

"Hey, man, I know how it is. Sometimes when things get crazy, I feel useless, too. There's a gap between me and my classmates that's only getting wider." Kirishima told him.

"But I'm doin' my best to close that gap so I can fight beside them!"

"That right there? That's called positivity, first-year." Amajiki sighed.
