The words sounded serene as Bakugo shouted them. His voice is gruff but seemingly relived.
You moved quicker than before, gliding across rooftops in search of Midoriya. A loud explosion drew you in closer.
Midoriya was behind towered over by civilians who were under the control of a villain. There's faces guilty as their bodies moved out of control.
Another loud bang of Bakugo's quirk hit the villain.
Midoriya's green iris gazed up, tiredly, as he made eye contact with you. Your eyes shining into his. His body softened and his lips curved up, for the first time in a while.
As you land nearby the rest of your classmates.
Todoroki had used his quirk to ice the villain. His body was now immobilized as he sat in a cold cube.
"Jailbreaker secured! We did it, Bakugo!" Yaoyorozu shouted.
"It's Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight." Bakugo shouted.
"Please excuse my error!" The black-haired girl apologized.
"That hero name is seriously a mouthful Katsuki." You smile as you wander closer to Midoriya. The blonde smirked to himself.
The bystanders began to run off, scared. You take slow steps forward as you close the gap between you and your friend.
"Everyone? Why?" Midoriya asked. His hair was covering over one of his eyes. His face was tired and dirty.
"Because we're worried about you." You continue moving closer. Your feet hitting the wet cement with a patter.
"I'm fine. That's why you don't have to worry." Midoriya slid on his battered mask.
You reach a hand out to him but he gently pushes it out of the way. "Get away." He mumbled, his heart snaps into pieces as he sees your eyes downturn.
Bakugo then clapped a few times. "Oh! That's great! Just what we wanted to hear from the great One For All Successor! So are you able to smile right now?"
"In order to smile. For everyone to live in peace. I have to go. That's why get out of the way, everyone."
Your classmate stood upwards staking only mere feet away from you. His body glistened with a green light.
