9: Love and Games

"You my friend are crazy,"I said to Harry as we walked into class.

"Admit you thought the band thing was cool last night," Harry winked.

"It was!" I replied. "Just a little-" we were cut off by the class clapping. "What's going on?"

"They like us," Harry shrugged.

"Great job last night!" Some random kid said.

"All over YouTube!" Another yelled.
'
Great vocals guys!" A girl squealed.

"Woah wait," I said stopping Harry. "You recorded it??"

"No," he replied honestly. "I swear!"

"Than who did?"

"Could have been anyone," Harry replied. "Everyone was there last night." 

"You're right," I replied. 

"Hey. Tomorrow after school Zayn is throwing a party. Want to come?" I looked over to see that he was really close to my face. 

"Uhh.. Yeah," I replied with a smile. I pulled myself back from being so close to him. He was really close. "That Zayn kid is really cool."

"He seemed to like you," he replied. "He said you had a wicked voice."

"I don't sing though," I replied. "I can't."

"That's stupid! You so can!" He replied. "You just need to put yourself out there more." 

"Right.." I sighed. 

"Alright class. Take your seats!" Niall said walking into the class room. "Today we go over 2013 modern Romeo and Juliet play. So every day this month we meet for this class, and after school." He led the class to the auditorium. Everyone took a seat in the fort few rows. I was seated next to Harry and Spencer.

"Romeo and Juliet!" The drama teacher started. I kind of zoned of not really caring.

My phone buzzed with a text.

Niall:
I heard you perform last night. You truly are amazing.

To Niall:
You aren't mad at me?

Niall:
As long as you and Harry are just friends.. I'm okay.

I looked up to see Niall staring at me. He threw me a wink, making me blush.

"Now! I need my Romeo and Juliet up here!" Harry jumped up the minute he heard our roles. He pulled me out of my seat, towards the front. "This okay is very modern. Regular langue. Same story line. But in this one, a kiss brings Romeo back." Woah.. A kiss?

"Is a kiss necessary?" Niall stepped up.

"It is for this play Mr.Horan," Mrs.Dew replied. "It will end with a huge musical number and Juliet making out with his face." I looked towards Harry to see him smirking.

"Knock that off," I said pushing his shoulder. He just laughed, following me back to our seats. 

"I want to go over the extra roles," Mrs.Dew instructed. "So I need my Romeo and my Juliet to take the stage and practice the song piece with the piano player while I assign." Everyone was split into groups as we went our different ways. 

"So for this scene is when you guys first lay eyes on each other," Haley, the piano player says, giving us pieces. "It then leads into the part where Juliet's father doesn't want her seeing Romeo so she ends up sneaking out a lot." Sounds familiar. 

We ran through the song a couple times till the bell rang letting us go to our second class. Spencer couldn't help but laugh. "What is wrong with you?"

"You have to kiss the guy who has the biggest crush on you while the guy you have a crush on is watching." She stopped laughing. "Ouch. Okay that sounded a little harsh." 

"It's staged kiss," I replied. "And when did Harry have a crush on me?"

"Uhh ever since you started talking to him on the first day of school," she replied. "Regean is a little upset. But hey. What can we say? A girl with natural beauty like you is hard to come by." She ran off catching up to Harley and the others. I walked behind thinking. 

Why would Harry like me? I mean, I'm not that pretty. And I already told him I had a boyfriend. What else can I say? 

I was then pulled into a class room, having the person lock the door behind them. The person wrapped their arms around me, placing a kiss to my lips. When we broke apart I saw Niall standing in front of me. "You could seriously get us both into trouble."

"I just really wanted to kiss you," he replied with a smirk. "I missed you last night."

"Yeah sorry about that," I replied. "But I suppose I'm in a band now." 

"You're an amazing singer Ryan," Niall said wrapping his arms around me once more. 

"I better get out there before people start getting suspisous," I said backing towards the door. "I will see you tonight okay?"

"Tonight," he replied with a wink. I just rolled my eyes, coming out of the door. 

"What did Mr.Horan need you for?" Harry asked, scaring the shit out of me. 

"Dammit Harry," I said pushing past him. 

"Sorry," he chuckeld. 

"And he wanted to as a question about tonights dinner," I replied. "It's a school meeting. Since my dad is like head princaple for this school and the university."

"Oh I see," he replied. "I'll see you after school then?"

"Yeah," I replied walking the opposite direction of him.

-HARRY'S POV-

I saw it. I saw everything. Their dirty little secret! The constant private talks. The secret meetings! It was all with him! And how could I have not seen it? He always winked at her. She was always blushing around him! How could I have not seen it? This is the reason she wouldn't date me! This is why she wouldn't do anything with me. And it was all because of him! 

I will have her with me. Whether she likes it or not! I will win her heart. And she will be mine. 

"You!" I said coming into the class room. "What do you think you're doing?" 

"What are you talking about Harry?" he asked rather confused. 

"Dating a student?" Mr.Horan stood up, closing the door behind me. 

"Did she tell you?"

"No," I replied. "She didn't have to. When you pulled her into the class room, kissing her like that? This is illeagle." 

"Look Harry," he sighed. "I really like her."

"Well so do I. But you don't see my breaking the law do you?" 

"Harry please," he asked. "I care about her. And.."

"And so do I," I cut him off again. "Mr.Horan, this is not safe! What if someone found out? Ryan would be crushed. You would go to jail which will hurt Ryan even more! Do you even think about these things?" 

"I did," he replied. "I think about them everyday. And I really like her. But what you're saying is right." 

"You break up with her," I said pointing my finger in his face. "Or I will tell your dirty little secret." 

"Harry please," he said stopping me from leaving. "Ryan means everything to me."

"Me too Mr.Horan," I replied. "I love her just as much as you." And with that.. I left.
