I guess you could say I miss everyone back home. The fact I left on a bad note doesn't help either. And now, I sit here in my plain old room, giving myself reasons not to go back. The dreams aren't helping that situation either. They never came. Niall never showed up. Harry didn't run up and pull me into a bone crushing hug. My friends never wanted me to come back the way I wanted to come back.

That's not going to happen Ryan.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," Bronson said, opening my door just a crack. He walked in, already dressed for the day. "I never got to ask how the concert was. You kind of just came in and crashed."

"Oh," I ran my hands through my hair. "It was good. Really good actually. They got signed last night so I guess that's pretty cool."

"Anything else you want to add," he smirked with his devilish grin. I pushed him away while laughing to myself as well. "Well let's get going sleepy head. We have to go the your school then to the grocery store before I head out."

"I hate busy days," I groan as I rolled out of bet. I didn't bother to do much. Besides throw my hair into a bun and slip on some shorts. I don't care what I look like. It's a Monday and I couldn't give two shits about today.

Walking out of the apartment, I spotted Michael knocking on his door. "Locked out again?" He jumped, turning towards my direction. His face heated up within a second of my notice.

"Ashton is asleep and Calum is being a DICK and won't open the door," he groaned, making sure he yelled loud enough for Calum to hear.

"I'll meet you downstairs," Bronson coo'ed making me flip him off. He just laughed, making his way downstairs.

"So uhh..." I started. "About last night..." I wanted to tell him it was too early. Too early for us right now at least. I kind of want to keep his at a friendship level. But with Michael, the way he treats me like I want to be treated. Or how he isn't overprotective or possesive. Something I haven't really had a taste of in a while.

I can't thought. Not with Niall swimming around in my head. No one will ever compare to the way Niall treated me.

"I understand Ryan," he chuckled. "I don't want to push you and I understand you want to wait. That's okay. I don't mind."

"Thank god," I sighed with relief. "So we're good then? Just friends?"

"Just friends." He leaned in slightly, making my heart race. But only to leave a small kiss on my cheek. I admired his actions. He was gentle and sweet. "ASHTON OPEN THE DOOR!"

"I'll see you around Michael," I waved him off. He smiled before stopping me once more.

"Why don't you come and hang with us tonight? Videos games and pizza?" I guess this is the first step of moving on. Hanging out as friends.

"Totally. My brother will be late tonight and I don't want to be alone." he smiled again before finally getting into his house.

"See you tonight Ryan!" I heard Ashton call. I waved them off once more before I skipped down the steps. I hopped into my brothers truck, actually smiling.

"Work things out with lover boy?" He smirked.

"We're just friends. Idiot," I pushed his shoulder making him laugh.

"I think we've both figured out you can't stay friends with a guy for long. He ends up falling to fast."

"Just shut up," I groaned as he took off down the road.

~~~
"So," Bronson started as we walked around the super market. "I have to go back home to get papers signed by my previous coach." I could literally feel my blood run cold. "You don't have to come but you can."
Do I even want to go?
Yes. I need to. I don't want to but I need to fix things back home. I had a good break but now it's time to face the music. I need to apologize. I need to set things strait.
"I'll go."
"You sure?" he asked almost in disbelief.
"Yes. I'm going to have to face then some time. Why not now?" He look amused and somewhat proud.
"Alright then. Now we need milk..."
~~~

"Okay well," Bronson said finishing up with the groceries. "I'll be home later on tonight. Practice runs late tonight. Call if you need anything though!" He kissed my forehead before rushing out the door. I should really get used to that cause this is why he's here. Not to watch over me.

I wonder what I'll go to school for. I've always loved music. Maybe a DJ. Or a music teacher. I do love teaching. I really should start thinking more about that. Not long before I graduate.

I sat down on the couch, flicking through the channels. Nothing look interesting. But that's what you get for living in an apartment.

Might as well go to Michael's then.

I slipped on some slippers, closing the door behind me as I made my way to my new friends house. Knocking in the room door, I twiddled my thumbs. Why am I so anxious to be here? We're just friends.

"Ryan!" Calum said pulling me into a hug. These guys are very touchy feely. What is this? "Come in!" Their apartment was very... Normal. For being in a band it is exactly what I expected to be honest. Band posters here and there. Guitar equipment.

"Well isn't it little miss rebel," Ashton said preparing food. "Your brother know you're here?"

"What he doesn't know won't hurt him," I replied with a smile.

"I like her," Luke laughed sitting next to me. He had two sodas, handing one to me. I took it with a smile and popped it open.

"Is Ryan here?" Michael said coming from down the hall. I smiled up at him as he did came as sat by me. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming early?"

"Well my brother left early and I was bored," I admitted. "I hope this is okay."

"It's perfectly fine. It's just... I would have told the boys to clean a little." they all started bickering, me hearing;

"That's your mess Michael!"

"Don't even go there!"

"I don't even live here!"

"You pretty much do Luke." I just laughed as they bickered a little but more.

This reminded me of home. With my friends.

I missed home.
