"Ryan get up!" Reagan yelled. "We have class in 20 minutes. C'mon!" I groaned, falling out of bed. I could feel the hangover from hell forming already. I slid out of bed and landing on the floor with a huge thud. "Geez Ryan get up!"
"Okay okay," I said getting to my feet. I pulled on some new pants and a sweater, leaving my long curly hair natural. There was no way today was going to go smoothly.
"No make up?" She asked.
"I haven't worn make-up since the beginning of 8th grade. I'm not starting now," I replied.
"Well I don't mind," she replied. "You look amazing without it." I gave her a small smile following her out the door.
"Bye butt head," Bronson said as I made my way out the door. He pushed my head so that I stumbled a bit which made the headache even worse. I flipped him off as I walked towards Reagan's car. Bronson is my older brother, who is 24, and he still lives with his parents. I would call him a loser but I respect his choices in a way.
"So where did you wonder off too?" She asked as we drove.
"Umm," I smiled shyly. "Nothing. Just hung out with a boy." She flipped out basically calling me the worst for not telling her who it was. "Look Reagan it was just a kiss."
"When can I meet him?" She asked.
"I don't even think I'll be seeing him again," I replied. She just groaned as she parked the car. It was my first day back since the accident with Jalen. I didn't want to face the school but I know I had too.
"You ready?" She asked. I nodded, clutching my bag strap. Once out of the car, it seemed to go smoothly. People were a lot nicer to me, waving, smiling, greeting me with a slight hello. It was comforting.
"Ryan!" Spencer ran up and hugged me. "Oh I'm so happy you're back!"
"Thanks Spencer" I replied, enjoying the warm embrace of her hug.
"Good to have you back," Emma said to me. I pulled her into a hug.
"Nice to see you again stranger!" Harley said. I laughed as she pulled me into a hug. The four girls I hung out with were Reagan, Emma, Harley, and Spencer. We all met in the 6th grade. Reagan was my neighbor until her dad got a nicer job and moved the nicer part of town. As for Spencer and Harley, we just ate lunch together on certain days and it kind of just became a habit.
"What do you have first hour?" Spencer asked. I pulled out my schedule looking at it closely.
"Umm English with Mr.Horan," I replied.
"Hey me too," she smiled. Once the bell rung we all made our separate ways. "So Reagan told me you met a special someone."
"God Reagan and her big mouth," I laughed, clutching my bag again as if I were nervous. I mean I was nervous what am I talking about.
"I want to hear all about him," she smiled. I walked into class, taking a seat in the middle of the third row. I sat between Spencer and a kid named Tyler Hall. In front of me was a kid named Josh Frank and behind me, well I didn't know him. He had curly hair that flopped on his head and had a really cute smile. I assume he's new but at this point, I feel like I'm new to the school too.
For some reason, I felt compelled to introduce myself or start talking to him. I know what it's like to be the new kid so I just blurted out "New here?" The man lifted his head from his binder and smiled.
"Umm yeah," he replied.
"My names Ryan," I put my hand out. He took it and shook it.
"Harry," he replied.
