I'll Tell You A Secret
I'll tell you a secret, silver moon
Catastrophic hues of blues
That you engulf me
In a sense of trust and loveI'll tell you a secret, about my damned pens
And darken shades of reds on my skin
You do know that I'm a mad woman
With a pen and a sharp tongueI'll tell you about my words I never said,
Only if I had, would he like me back?
Would she not say my wound isn't greater than hers?I'll tell you of the nights I spent alone,
Thinking he'd text me back
Or just look at my text
I stared for so longI'll tell you about my songs,
The ones I never sing,
The ones that feel like chainsaw
If not writtenI'll tell you of my hopes buried,
Buried under the faint light
Of stars and my tearsI'll tell you a secret, silver moon,
One I never thought I'd tell,
I like him,
I really do,
But I'm catastrophic to
Everyone I love.You a whole of light,
You hold my fears and tears
And inks of frustration. And in return you shine bright for me,
A secret keeper cloaked in the sky black.
