It started with a whisper,
A touch in the quiet dark,
A spark I didn’t expect,
But it left its mark.
We didn’t plan this,
It wasn’t supposed to be,
But in that moment, I knew
Something changed in me.I lost myself in you,
Caught in the pull,
Fighting with my own mind,
But it felt so full.
They said it was nothing,
That we’d fall apart,
But I felt it in the silence,
A love that beat in my heart.I felt it on the drive home,
In the hum of the night,
Saw it in your eyes,
In the absence of light.
It wasn’t fate, no,
It was us—fighting for more,
A love we chose,
And we were fearless. One night, I woke,
A strange twist in my mind,
I couldn’t hold it back,
This truth I couldn’t bind.
I turned to you,
With no words left to hide,
“You’re my best friend,”
And I couldn’t deny what I felt inside.It wasn’t fate,
Not written in the stars,
It was us—choosing,
To mend all our scars.
We fought through the silence,
Through doubts and the noise,
Never regretting
What we’d found in the choice.
