With trembling hands and a heart that refuses to rest, this "Bone Rattling Edition" of Skeletal Poet's Sonnets was born.

Each word here lingers with sorrow, shaped by a grief that seems endless—an echo of the sadness that’s woven into who I am. These poems are shaped by the cold hands of time, bearing witness to the moments that rattle my ribs with sorrow’s touch, fierce yet tender, like an enemy embracing me in motherly love.

In these verses, I’ve let the horizon of my grief stretch wider and deeper until it reaches the very core. That’s why I’ve called it the "Bone Rattling Edition."

At first, I envisioned this "Bone Rattling Edition" as an exploration of sorrow in the world around me — a way to entangle the tangled threads of sadness woven through society. But somewhere along the way, I came to an unexpected realization: before I could touch the sorrow of others, I had to face the tightly knotted grief within myself. It was humbling, almost shameful, to see how deeply my own sorrow ran, hidden and waiting to be heard.

And so, this edition became something more personal. These poems are not only reflections of sadness in the world, but of my own sadness — the pieces of me that time has shaped, broken, and rebuilt. This "Bone Rattling Edition" became my way of unbraiding the sorrow that clings to my own bones, allowing each word to echo the grief I carry.

So, enter this space with me, knowing that here lies a deeply personal storm. Perhaps, in facing this quiet turbulence together, we’ll come to find a strange peace within it.
